3 Regional co-operation Events and fairs - Grow and Go Intertational event for entrepreneurs and orgaizationos in Kanta-Häme region -> free of charge workshops for companies, seminar, high-ranking speakers like Alexander Stubb and Esko Aho, exhibition and match making for developers and entrepreneurs
4 Workshops + projects - Several projects in co-operation with Ragional Development companies (Riihimäki, Forssa, Janakkala and Hattula) Russia Business Point project The goals of the Project are: 1. To form a centralized and cost-efficient Russia Service Point for SMEs in Häme. 2. To increase the ability to enter the Russian market by helping growth seeking SMEs and providing market entry and other services to companies, which are willing to boost their business in Russia and companies, which are ready to expand and enter the Russian market. 3. To improve the collaboration between the regional authorities of Häme region and SMEs in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the region and build network relations between Russian and Finnish enterpreneurs and local authorities
5 Häme Power Nets project The purpose of this project is to build value added business networks and partnerships for the SMEs in Hämeenlinna - Riihimäki region in order to boost their business. The operational activities will be divided as follows: Part I: To survey the existing business ecosystems with future plans in chosen 4-6 transnational companies in order to find needs and opportunities for the SMEs in Hämeenlinna - Riihimäki region as a part of growing, bigger business environments. Part II: 4 pilot projects will be carried out with selected SMEs in order to introduce them to applicable transnational companies in Baltic Sea Region. Part III: Harmonizing the HHT main growth corridor plans, targeted SME business development activities and network creation. Activating new SME- networks into Hämeenlinna - Riihimäki region to utilize potential initiatives at the main growth corridor of Finland. Part IV: Reporting and analysig the results, creating new services and tools, spreading good practises for SMEs and in general. The project will produce illustrations of tangible creation of business networks and transnational start-ups. Later these results can be more widely promoted to SMEs in the region
