6 FACTS ABOUT THE CITY OF HÄMEENLINNA Hämeenlinna is the administrative centre of the province of Southern Finland, a traditional and vibrant educational and cultural town at the junction of nationally important rail, road and waterway network. Hämeenlinna presents the ideal combination of nature and culture. Already 365 years old, the city is full of historical sights and surrounded by beautiful nature reserves. The city's landmark is its medieval red brick castle and Hämeenlinna is also famous for its unique Aulanko Park and as the birthplace of Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. 7 RAUTARUUKKI Rautaruukki supplies metal-based components, systems and integrated systems to the construction and mechanical engineering industries. The company has a wide selection of metal products and services. Rautaruukki has operations in 24 countries and employs 14,700 people. Net sales in 2007 totalled EUR 3.9 billion. The company's share is quoted on the OMX Nordic Exchange Helsinki (Rautaruukki Oyj: RTRKS). 10 SISU AXLES Trucks and industrial vehicles come in just about every size and configuration. But they all have one thing in common - they need axles to run on. And that, in a word, is our business - axles. Our expertise is in knowing how to convert the forces generated by a vehicle into effective work on the ground. We specialize in heavy-duty truck axles, typically planetary reduction axles. Our product assortment consists of a full range of drive and non-drive front axles, single and multi-axle rear axles, and axles for special purposes such as military and industrial use.
