Shaving is not permitted in the facility. Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms. Only coaches, swimmers and working volunteers will be permitted on the pool deck. Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is prohibited. Current USA Swimming, Inc. and Oregon Swimming, Inc. rules will govern this meet. Current Oregon Swimming Safety Guidelines and Warm-up Procedures will be in effect. Swimmers must be currently registered with U.S.A. Swimming; NO ON-DECK USA Swimming REGISTRATION WILL BE PERMITTED. Swimmers must be within the listed age brackets as of 12/13/14. All swimmers must be supervised by a USA swimming certified coach at the meet. Teams with entries in the Thunderbolt Junior International meet will be given entry priority for this meet.

2 Page 2 No Coach Present: Entry Limit: Meet Limit: Times: Check-in: Bull Pen: Entries: Entry Fees: For unattached swimmers, or swimmers whose coach is not attending the meet, it is the swimmer s responsibility to arrange for a certified coach to be responsible for the swimmer. This must be done BEFORE the swimmer may enter the water for warmups or competition. Please see the Meet Director or the Meet Referee for assistance upon arrival at the meet. Swimmers may enter a maximum of THREE (3) events per session. Competition will conclude at 4:00 pm or the completion of the last event, whichever comes first. WARM-UPS: No earlier than 11:30am. Teams will be contacted with the estimated meet start time prior to the date of competition. 200 meter events may be deck seeded and limited to the fastest 30 swimmers if constraints to timeline exist. Coaches will be notified of deck seeding prior to the start of the meet. s 100 meter and shorter will be pre-seeded. This can be changed at the discretion of the meet referee. Coaches will be responsible for positive check-in of their swimmers. Check-in forms are required by the conclusion of warm-ups to the Clerk of Course desk for those events that may be deck seeded. There will be a bullpen for all 8-U swimmers. All other swimmers will report directly to their team coach. 1. Submit SC Meter times for seeding, converted times will be accepted. 2. Ages and USA Swimming registration numbers must be included at time of registration. 3. HY-TEK Meet Management Software will be used. Please submit entries via . If you do not use HY-TEK, please contact the Meet Director. 4. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing racing starts or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. 5. 3 Page 3 Entry Deadline: Entry Address: Awards: givens Entries may be submitted starting Friday, November 14, 2014, and they must be received by 5:00PM, Wednesday, November 26 th, DO NOT LEAVE ENTRIES AT THE POOL. Late entries will be considered on a case by case basis at the discretion of the Meet Director NW 130 th Ave Portland, OR st -3 rd, individual events, will receive medals; 4 th -8 th, individual events, will receive ribbons. In all Open events, awards will be given as 10-U, 11-12, and 13-O. In 12-U events, awards will be given as 10-U and In 11-O events, awards will be given as and 13-O. All awards must be picked up at the conclusion of the meet, they will not be mailed. Meetings: Officials: Timers: Notice: Officials meeting will be held at 11:30am. Coaches meeting will be held 15 minutes prior to the start of each session. We always appreciate the help of Certified Officials from other clubs. If you will be attending this meet, please notify officials@thunderboltswimming.org so that your name can be added to the schedule. An Officials Hospitality Room will be provided. Each team will be given lane timing assignments based on the number of swimmers. Please designate a parent representative to report to the Head Timer 30 minutes prior to the start of the meet. This meet may be covered by the media, including photographs, video, web casting and other forms of obtaining images of athletes participating in the meet. Entry into the meet is acknowledgement and consent to this fact.
