1 The Old Orchard Swim Club Date: Sunday, July 10, 2016 Event: The 48 th Annual Bob Rueppel Mini-Meet Event Information Back in 1969 the Mini-Meet was established with the sole intent of encouraging 9 and under boys & girls to experience the joys of competitive swimming with other children of the same age in a safe and friendly environment. Over the years, thousands of children throughout New Jersey have participated in this 61 event swim meet which even includes fun kick-board races for the youngest participants! Many of the past Mini-Meet swimmers have truly excelled and have gone on to compete for High School & College swim teams. One of the truly notable Mini-Meet alumni is Sean Killion, who swam on the 1992 US Olympic Swim Team in Barcelona Spain! This year s Mini-Meet offers a perfect opportunity for our Future Olympians to embrace the wonderful sport of swimming. Sponsorship Information The 48 th Annual Bob Rueppel Mini Meet will take place on Sunday July 10, 2016 at the Old Orchard Swim Club in Cherry Hill NJ. Our Mini Meet is known across South Jersey as a premier event. Many swimmers and the families come from Cherry Hill, Marlton, Haddonfield, Medford, Medford Lakes, Mt Laurel, Pennsauken, Merchantville, Voorhees, and other towns in Camden and Burlington Counties. We provide a fun, safe, outdoor swim competition for younger swimmers. Please help support this event & our team by becoming a Corporate Sponsor! Announcements will be made for all events. Food / Beverages: Food and Beverages will be available for purchase at the OOSC snack bar. Directions to Club: I-295 to exit 34 A (Route 70 East) in Cherry Hill. Take a right turn at the fourth stop light onto Old Orchard Road. Take a right at the fourth street onto Evans Lane.
