Session start times are subject to minimum warm up time and other considerations. Time Trials will be available at the end of each 13 and Over session. Event Information: The Bobcat Swim Club is hosting the Spring Classic at the Ohio University Aquatic Center. The Ohio University Aquatic Center is located at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. The Aquatic Center is located across from Peden Stadium, next to Margaret Walter Hall and Grover Center. Pool Set Up: During warm-up 10 lanes will be available, for competition 8 lanes will be used. The 10th lane will be available for warm up/warm down during the meet while the 9th lane will be used as a buffer. All Events will be Timed Finals. Current USA rules and regulations will be used. Time Trials: Time Trials will be run on the fly at the conclusion of each 13 and Over session. No Time Trials will be conducted for relays. Scratches: Swimmers entering Time Trials must scratch prior to the final event of the regular meet. Entry Deadline: Entries must be submitted electronically. All entries are due by 8:00 PM on May 6, All swimmers must be members of USA swimming. Entry Fees: Entry fees for individual events will be $4.00 and $7.00 for relays. There will be a $2.00 fee for each swimmer for the Ohio travel fee. Make all fees payable to Ohio University Campus Recreation Deck Entries: Deck entries will only be accepted if space is available in a heat. Additional heats will not be added. Deck entry fees will be $5.00 for individuals and $7.00 for relays. Entry Limit: Swimmers are allowed to swim a Maximum of five (5) events per day, plus relays. Please note that any Time Trials count toward the five (5) event total. Positive Check-In: Check-In will be required 30 minutes prior to the beginning of each session for all events 400 meters or longer. Entry into these events will be limited to the fastest 40 swimmers. Limits: Events 400 Meters in length shall be limited to the forty (40) fastest swimmers. Events 800 meters or longer shall be limited to the twenty four (24) fastest swimmers. Time Standards: No time standards. Awards: All 12 and Under swimmers will be given awards for heat winner, and places 1st through 8th. No team awards will be given. No awards will be given for Time Trials.

3 Scoring: Scoring will be done within each age group, 8 and under, 9-10, and Over session will not be Scored. No scoring for Time Trials Help Needed: The Bobcat Swim Club needs officials and timers to help with our meet. If any parents wish to officiate, please contact the meet director. Every official will be issued a hospitality ticket for each session. All teams that bring more than 8 swimmers will be asked to provide at least one timer. Any swimmer participating in an individual event 800 meters or longer will be required to provide a lap counter and timer. Any swimmer participating in time trials must provide a timer, and where applicable a lap counter.
