You can purchase 1 ticket for $5 or 3 tickets for $10. The winner s name will be drawn on Friday night. A silent auction will be held throughout the conference, with the final cut-off Friday at 8 p.m. Florida Newspaper and Marketing Executives established a scholarship fund to honor Jay Weimar and his outstanding contributions to this association while holding the position of Display Advertising Director at The Florida Times-Union. Jay, a 1979 graduate of Flagler College, bravely fought a lengthy battle with cancer before passing away in December FNAME will contribute $2,000 annually to this scholarship fund. You can make a personal or corporate contribution by going to the Web site Please designate your tax-deductible gift to the Jay P. Weimar Memorial. To date, $24,000 has been raised by FNAME. 2 About Flagler College Flagler College is a residential college serving approximately 2,700 students, including 2,200 traditional, college-aged students on its main campus in St. Augustine. There are 400 students on its extended campus in Tallahassee, and 100 non-traditional students in its public administration program in St. Augustine. Flagler College offers 20 majors, 26 minors, and two prepprofessional programs leading to the bachelor s degree. The heart of the campus is the former Hotel Ponce de Leon, one of the most historically significant buildings in the United States and a National Historic Landmark.
