Dr. Herbster and the folks of Tri-City Baptist Church will be rolling out the red carpet for us. The conference runs from Tuesday morning through Wednesday at noon. I realize that all of us have very busy schedules, but please make every effort to come to this meeting for three very important reasons. First, our theme this year focuses on mentorship/discipleship a critical component of Christian higher education. Second, we will be discussing three special initiatives: 1) The Tuition Exchange Program, 2) Recruitment Code of Ethics, and 3) A proposal to obtain public policy information affecting our institutions. Finally, this meeting will provide a rich environment for fellowship with others who can appreciate the pressures that we face each day. The conference will begin on Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. and will end on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. You will find complete registration information attached here. Please don t hesitate to call ( , ext. 402) or write (office@aaccs.info) if you have any questions. The annual meeting is now just two months away. That time will slip up on us all very quickly. Let me urge you to take care of registration details as soon as you are able. Dr. Carl Herbster and Dr. Chris Barney, along with all the staff at Heart of America Seminary are eager for us to arrive. Dr. Stratton has outlined in his letter the plans for the 2006 Annual Meeting. I would like to provide some additional information regarding two important issues. It is our desire to see every member school function as an active participant in this association. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions. Annual Membership Renewal Now is the time to renew your institutional membership in the AACCS for the school year. You will find the membership renewal form posted on the association website at This form should be forwarded to the person best suited to provide the necessary statistical data. Please make sure this information, along with a check for the required annual dues of $300.00, is received no later than Friday, January 12 th. 3 Registration for the 2007 Annual Meeting A registration packet for the 2007 Annual Meeting is attached as a PDF file. It includes additional information on lodging, meals, airport pick-up and special activities available for our conference delegates. Your registration should be received no later than Friday, January 12 th. The conference hotel will be the Hilton Garden Inn of Independence, MO, conveniently located just one-half mile from Tri-City Baptist Church and Heart of America Seminary. In addition to spacious rooms, this beautiful facility provides the following complimentary benefits: high-speed internet, indoor pool, fitness center, and deluxe continental breakfast.
