Apply for the Phi Beta Psi Sorority Scholarship worth $750. Application deadline: March 15, Copies of the scholarship are available in the ALC Guidance Office. The State Bank of Lizton Community Bankers Scholarship Program is now available in the ALC Guidance Office. Applicants must plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two or four Year College, university, or vocational-technical school. $2,000 will be awarded. Applicants are chosen on the basis of academics, extracurricular activities, community service, and recommendations of counselors and teachers. Financial need of $2,000 or greater must be demonstrated. Deadline to apply: March 15, Attention Senior Girls! Apply for the Prom Genie Scholarship! The CO-ALLIANCE Solutions Scholarship is now available. This scholarship is a onetime $1,000 award based on achievement, leadership and personal initiative. Senior, Lauren Briskey, 2015 Distinguished Young Woman of Avon, is about to begin a very busy week in Kokomo, Indiana as she represents Avon High School and the Avon community in Indiana s State Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Program. Show us what you got! A representative from the Marine Corp Band will be at AHS during SRT on February 25th. They will be giving a presentation, conducting screening, and setting up auditions for spots in the Marine Corp Band. Sign up in Naviance to attend. The first day of official practice for the boys' and girls' track & field teams will be Tuesday, February 17 at 3:15 p.m. in the Fieldhouse. This is mandatory for everyone planning on competing in track & field this season. Congratulations to Jordan Kleyn. Jordan was recently named the Gatorade Boys Soccer State Player of the Year.
