Rogers Scholarship for Future Teachers $250 per semester renewable for 4 years = Graduating senior from USD 501, planning to attend a 4 year college or university, have a minimum GPA of 3.4, plan on majoring in elementary or secondary education. Delta Theta Chi Sorority Electra Province Scholarship $1,700 = High school senior who will be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the state of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, or Nebraska, and must have declared a major in Fine Arts: Music Art, Dance, or Theatre.

Christopher Edmonds Prize in Debate & Forensic Excellence Deadline March 15 th $1,000 = A senior at Topeka High School who plans on attending a 4 year college or university, competed in interscholastic debate and/or forensics for a minimum of 3 academic years, have a minimum of 750 points awarded from the National Forensic League, preference will be given to those who intend to pursue debate at the collegiate level, award given upon proof of acceptance of college offer. Electrify your future Westar Energy Scholarships General Line Worker Scholarship $2,000 each Power Plant Operator Scholarship $2,000 Deadline March 16 th = Must be a graduating senior or recent graduate, maintain a 2.5 GPA while in the program, must be a Kansas resident, may need a Commercial Driver s License. ** Shawnee County Farm Bureau Deadline March 23 rd = Senior who parents or grandparents are members of Shawnee County Farm Bureau, and will be attending a Kansas institution for higher learning. Must live in Shawnee or Douglas County, graduating in May 2015, have a 3.0 GPA or higher, demonstrate participation in community service activities. 5 Kansas Junior Golf Scholarship Deadline March 27 th $5,000 ($1250 each year) = Academic scholarship, must be a senior who has participated in junior golf, including high school golf. Academic performance, leadership, a written essay, and financial need. Must attend a Kansas college or university, including community colleges. Kiwanis Club of Topeka Foundation $600 Deadline March 31 st = Senior awards will be based on academic achievement, leadership qualities, service, special abilities, and financial need. ** Quest Bridge College Prep Scholarship Deadline Late March = Must be a high school Junior and have a 3.5 GPA and take challenging classes, come from a family earning less than $60,000 annually with limited assets. 7 Athnet Sports Recruiting Scholarship Deadline June 1 st $1,000 = High school seniors who were athletes in high school (do not have to be athletes in college). Will be enrolled as a full time student at a two or four year college. Apply online at: Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Scholarship = Must be a US citizen, national or permanent resident, between the ages of 15 and 18, current high school student at the time of application with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
