We were awarded the national contract for pension administration support by the NHS for England and Wales in As part of the contract we support 2.4 million pension scheme members, manage the pension contributions of 1.3 million current NHS employees through our pension software and make payments totalling 7.4 billion to 760,000 pensioners every year. Equiniti also pioneered the development of revalidation management software and 360 Feedback which helps licensed doctors demonstrate on a regular basis that their skills are up to date and they are fit to practise. Our experience further extends into HR and payroll services for which we make payments of 425 million every year to 40,000 NHS employees as well as providing flexible benefits which help to promote improved employee engagement. Our staff are trained on the national payroll system, ESR, with the use of our data capture and automation modules and a pensions administration service being included in the package. Our services can be provided as a fully managed NHS payroll service or as a blended service, where we take on selected parts of the process. NHS People + Equiniti offers a range of automation modules that complement NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR) software. These modules, collectively known as NHS People+, enable employees to record and submit their expenses and record enhanced and overtime hours. Management functions are improved through an enhanced ability to sign off changes and change employee contracts, as well as the crucial business intelligence that NHS People+ provides. NHS People + is available as part of our service or as stand-alone modules for Trusts who use another payroll service provider or perform their payroll in-house. 5 Intelligent Revalidation Management and 360 Feedback Revalidation Management System Job planning Revalidation Solutions Leave Management Revalidation Services 360º Degree Feedback Revalidation Management System (RMS) RMS stores information from regular appraisals, feedback from colleagues and patients and holds evidence of revalidation recommendation to the GMC. RMS is used by NHS Trusts to store profile information such as qualifications, continuous professional development and 360 Feedback. 360 Feedback As part of the revalidation process, healthcare professionals such as doctors are required to obtain feedback from colleagues and patients about the care they have received. 360 Feedback from Equiniti is a system which manages the process of obtaining and storing the information from the feedback. Job Planning Module Job planning ensures that doctors are prioritising clinical care over management workloads. It allows consultants and doctors to document their main duties and responsibilities, scheduling of commitments, personal development and the support needed to complete the job plan. The job planning system provides evidence for appraisals and revalidation and ensures that employees comply with working time regulations. Leave Management Leave management is an easy-touse online solution designed to relieve the administrative burden of managing leave requests. The Leave management module makes leave easier to manage, for both the employee and the manager, by providing a self-service portal for leave requests, and by centralising information for sign-off online.
