The challenge for Ultra Electronics Ultra Electronics consists of 30 autonomous businesses employing over 4,500 staff worldwide. As with any large company, succession planning and management are a priority. Historically, succession and development plans were created in Excel but as the business grew, Ultra found that this no longer worked.
