RMS Cloud - Setup Instructions for Windows Computers Please follow these instructions on each windows computer that requires a connection to the RMS Cloud system.

com/downloads/2x/win/2xclient-latest.msi - Choose to save the file to your desktop - Double click on the file named 2XClient-latest.msi you have downloaded to start the installation.

1 RMS Cloud - Setup Instructions for Windows Computers Please follow these instructions on each windows computer that requires a connection to the RMS Cloud system. If you are using a Mac, please see the separate document for setting RMS Cloud up on a Mac computer. Download the 2X Application Server Client using the below link: - Choose to save the file to your desktop - Double click on the file named 2XClient-latest.msi you have downloaded to start the installation. - Click Next on each question to install the software - You will need to tick the I accept box and click Next to continue - Install to the default location and click Next - Click on Install to begin the installation - As the installation ends you may be asked to install/update a single sign on component Click NO to this question - At the end of the installation you will be asked if you wish to launch the 2X Client tick the box and click Finish - You will now see a pop up indicating that you have no connections configured. Click YES to add one. 1

2 The 2X Application Server Client may now search for servers (and not find any); In which case it may display the Connection Properties box below. If you don t see this box, just select Add New 2X Connection on the File menu. - You need to now fill out the Connection/Server details as per the below information. It is imperative that you enter the details for your region as shown below for the connection to be successful: Region Primary Connection Secondary Connection Australasia cloudau.rms.com.au cloudsecau.rms.com.au UK clouduk.rms.com.au cloudsecuk.rms.com.au US cloudus.rms.com.au cloudsecus.rms.com.au India cloudin.rms.com.au cloudsecin.rms.com.au UAE clouduae.rms.com.au cloudsecuae.rms.com.au Connection Mode: Gateway SSL Mode Port: 443 Alias: RMS Cloud Auto Logon: Ticked Use system credentials (SSO): Un-ticked (if not grayed out) Username: (See Attachment on Welcome ) Password: (See Attachment on Welcome ) Save Password: Ticked Domain: rmscentral Note: To add the Secondary Connection click 'Secondary Connections...' and then click 'Add..'. Enter the relevant address from the table above into the 'Server' field and then select 'Gateway SSL Mode'. Ensure the port is set to '443'. 2

It is imperative that you enter the details for your region as shown below for the connection to be successful: Region Primary Connection Secondary Connection Australasia cloudau.rms.com.

3 - Now select the 'Display' TAB and choose the following options: Note. - On your desktop - In your Start menu under All Programs > 2X Remote Desktops & Applications - The first time you run RMS Cloud, you may see a Security Alert about the server security certificate

5 - The server will now connect to the RMS Cloud system and display the list of application groups available to you. - You can now open RMS by double clicking the RMS Cloud shortcut icon: - In the 2X Client window (highlight 'RMS Cloud' on the left). - On your desktop - In your Start menu under All Programs > 2X Remote Desktops & Applications - The first time you run RMS Cloud, you may see a Security Alert about the server security certificate being selfsigned. Tick the Do not ask me again option and then click Yes to proceed. - If you receive a message from your Windows (or other) firewall software asking if you want to 'unblock' or 'allow' a program called 'tsclient', please do so. - You may close the 2X Application Server Client box at any time. It will simply minimize down to the system tray (near the time) so that it is always accessible. If you are a new RMS client, then you are ready to begin your training and start configuring your database. Your trainer should be in contact shortly to discuss your training schedule. Important note for existing clients migrating to RMS Cloud: If you are an existing RMS client you will notice that the database you have just connected to is blank. You will now need to log a service request to organise a time to migrate your existing database to the RMS Cloud system. Once this process is complete, you must uninstall your current RMS software. This is critical to ensure your RMS data on the cloud is not overwritten. > Go to your windows start button > Choose Control Panel > Choose Add / Remove Programs (or if using Vista choose Programs and Features) > Find RMS for Windows in the list, click once to highlight > Choose remove or uninstall > If you see RMSOnline Client or RMS Configurator, remove these also. > Repeat these steps on all computers which have RMS installed. 5
