4 Important Instructions for Candidates 1. The Candidate whose name appeared in Final Merit List is Eligible to Submit Option Form. 2. The Candidate has to Submit and Confirm Online Option Form through Candidate Login by himself/herself. It is not required to report to ARC for Confirmation. 3. The ARC shall act only as Facilitation Centre for Candidate to Submit and Confirm Online Option Form. It will be the responsibility of the candidate to Submit and Confirm Online Option Form by himself/herself. 4. Click on 'Fill / Edit Option Form' Button to fill the Option Form. 5. After that, Candidate will have to select the Course. All the Institutes under that Course will be displayed. 6. To shortlist an option s/he has to select the Institute by clicking on the Checkbox given in front of the Institute name. 7. S/he can go on selecting as many options as s/he wants by clicking on the Institutes. 8. Once s/he finalizes all his options, only then candidate can click on Proceed button. 9. All the options selected by her/his will be shown. 10. If s/he wants to change the short listed options then s/he is also allowed to do so. 11. You can go on clicking one by one on the check box given in front of the option to set preferences with highest priority first. 12. You are allowed to set preferences to maximum 100 options selected by you. 13. If you wish to reset the preferences then click on Reset preferences button or click on confirm button. 14. Then all the options in order of preferences given by you are shown. 15. Candidate can modify preferences, add choices, delete choices before confirmation of the online Option Form. 16. Once you are sure then confirm your Option Form and take print out of FINAL Receipt-Cum-Acknowledgement of Option Form. You can repeat these steps as many times as you want till you Confirm your Option Form. 17. The Option Form just submitted, but not confirmed by the candidate himself/herself will not be processed for allotment. 18. The Online Option Form once confirmed by the candidate will not be cancelled. 19. The Online Option Form once confirmed by the candidate cannot be changed/cancelled. 20. Candidate should keep the printout of the online Option Form after confirmation by the candidate for future reference. 21. All institutes will remain open from AM to 5.00 PM on all days of reporting. 6 2. Option form filling 2.1 HOME : Candidate should go through the given instructions and then click on Proceed to Complete Option Form>>> Candidate Option Form Filling Manual-MBA/MMS Option form filling 4

7 2.2 Shortlist your options : 1. Select Course Name, University, Status 1, Status 2 and Status 3 and Click on 'Search Institute' Button. A list of all Institutes under that Course will be displayed. Candidate Option Form Filling Manual-MBA/MMS Option form filling 5

8 2. You can click on check box given in front of Institutes in Select column to choose Institute of your choice. You can select any number of Institutes. After selecting Institutes Click on 'Add Selected Options' Button. 3. You can repeat this process. All options selected by you are saved as 'Your Shortlisted Options'. 9 4. In case you want to remove some options selected by you, then click on check box given in front of Institutes in 'Your Shortlisted Options'. After selecting Institutes Click on 'Delete Selected Options' Button. 5. After shortlisting your all options, click on 'Save & Proceed' Button. 10 2.3 Set Preferences: 1. Please click on the check boxes one by one to give your Preferences. When you click particular check box of an Institute the Preference will be generated and shown in the text box adjoining to the checkbox. 13 2.4 Preferences given by you: 1. Carefully check the Preferences given by you to Courses and Institutes displayed. 2. If you again wish to change the Preferences click on the 'Change preferences' Button. Candidate Option Form Filling Manual-MBA/MMS Option form filling 11

14 3. If you are sure about the preferences set for courses and Institutes then click on 'Confirm Options' Button. 4. Once you Confirm your Preferences, you will not be able to Edit it. 5. If you want to Insert a Choice Code to a particular position, then click on 'Insert Choice Code' Button given below. Candidate Option Form Filling Manual-MBA/MMS Option form filling 12

15 6. If you want to Move a Preferenced Choice Code to a particular position, then click on 'Move Choice Code' Button given below. Candidate Option Form Filling Manual-MBA/MMS Option form filling 13

16 2.5 Confirm Option Form: 1. Please verify the correctness of the information filled. In case of any correction, do it online before confirmation. 2. You will not be able to modify preferences, add choices, delete choices after confirmation of Online Option Form. 3. Your Option Form once confirmed will not be cancelled. 4. Your Option Form once confirmed cannot be changed. 5. Once you are sure then confirm your Option Form and take print out of FINAL Receipt- Cum-Acknowledgement of Option Form. You can repeat these steps as many times as you want till you Confirm your Option Form. 6. The Option Form just submitted, but not confirmed by the candidate himself/herself will not be processed for allotment for CAP Round - I. 17 2.6 Print Option Form: Same steps shall be followed for CAP round II. Candidates may refer this manual for OPTION FORM FILLING process. For CAP round III candidates may fill option form and keep their preferences ready for the counselling round. Candidates are not allowed to confirm the option form as in CAP-I and CAP-II.
