1 Personal and Small Business Login Guide

2 Let s Get Started: 1. From our home page at in the upper left hand corner under the heading PERSONAL & SMALL BUSINESS, enter your current Netteller online banking ID as your new ABBconnect User ID, and click on the right arrow. Your new ABBconnect User ID must be entered in all lower case. 2. If you are a single account holder, go to step #3. If you are a joint account holder and currently share the same Netteller ID, the second signer will need to log in to the new system as a new user and establish a separate, unique User ID and Password. This is part of our enhanced security feature. Just click Sign up here and follow the instructions. 3. Next, to help safeguard your information, you will be prompted to validate your identity through a One-Time Security Code. A phone call or SMS text message is used to confirm your identity. Note: Based on your carrier contract, you may be charged standard text message rates for SMS. If a phone is not available you may continue by answering verification questions derived from public or commercially available records. Click on the answer verification questions link and go to step #4, section c. Otherwise, click Continue with Security Code. 1

3 4. Select Phone or Text Message to receive the One-Time Security Code. Click Continue. Note: The text message must be sent to a mobile phone. a. If you select to be contacted by phone, you will be asked to enter the One-Time Security Code displayed on your screen. You will need to speak or enter the security code shown on your screen once you receive your phone call. You will have three attempts to correctly speak or enter the code. After completing the phone call, click Phone Call Completed. You will be forwarded to the Password page if the code was entered correctly. 2

4 b. If you select to be contacted by text message, enter the Mobile Phone Number.! Click Send Text Message. A text message containing a one-time security code will be sent to your mobile phone. The mobile number MUST match a number on record with the Bank. Enter the one-time security code and click Submit. You will have three attempts to enter the security code correctly. You will be forwarded to the Password page if entered correctly. Skip to step #5. 3

If you want to receive a phone call and your phone number is not listed on the screen, or if a phone is not available, you may continue by answering verification questions derived from public or commercially available records. Click on the My phone number is not listed above or answer verification questions link. Enter your first name, last name and birthdate and click Continue. The questions on the page are used to verify your identity. Complete the questions and Click Submit. 4

6 You will be forwarded to the Password page if entered correctly. The final step is to Reset your Password. 5. Your current Password is the last 6 digits of your Social Security Number or Tax ID Number. For example, if your Social Security Number is , your temporary Password would be Click Submit. Your new Password must be at least eight characters in length, but no more than 32 characters It must be different from the user ID, even if different cases are used (uppercase vs. lowercase) It must include a combination of the following types of characters: At least one letter A through Z (uppercase and/or lowercase) At least one number 0 through 9 Passwords are case sensitive Passwords may contain special characters 5
