1 Chartis XOL Chartis Excess Online User Manual Once your broker has signed up to the Excess Online system you will automatically be sent a username and password. The website address is 1. Enter your Username and Password 2. You will be taken to the Find a Client screen. If you are a new user you will need to Add a Client (See 3. below) To find a client begin to type in the client name. The system will automatically recognise the client. Click on the client name to go to the client summary (See 4. below)

2 3. To Add a Client enter the required details and click next. This will take you to Get a Quote (See 5. below) 4. The Client Summary Page is for new quotes, reviewing existing quotes, MTA s, Renewals, editing client details and reviewing live policies.

3 5. To begin your quote click Get an Excess Elite Quote. From here you can also return to the client Summary page or find another client. 6. Enter the period of cover required and click next

4 7. If you have agreed a rollover deal with Chartis select YES and enter the expiring premium. Otherwise select NO. To continue you must read and agree to the Material Facts Statement then select next

Complete the Proposer Details and click next Trade Select the trade from the drop down list Postcode Ensure the Client postcode is correct Client Sites Ensure you have accurately ticked the correct box 9. Complete the Business Details and click next. Business Description Enter this as per primary policy Turnover Overseas Turnover See 9. below. Primary Policy Number Enter the correct primary policy number Coverage - Select the coverage you require

6 10. Overseas Turnover when you select any of these another box will appear. Enter the % of total turnover in these areas.

7 11. Once you have selected the required coverage s you will need to answer the following questions for Employers Liability, Public/Products Liability and Motor Third Party Property Damage. Once completed select next

8 12. You will now either receive a quote or the case will refer. If the case is referred an will automatically be sent to a Chartis underwriter who will review and contact you within agreed SLA s. Your quote summary will show premium, commission, include documentation (including endorsements) and a summary of cover. This information can be sent to you by clicking me this Quote If you are happy with your quote click proceed.

9 13. To Bind click Accept

10 14. Once you have bound your case you will have final details of the Premium and Policy Docs. This information can be sent to you by clicking me this Policy You can now quote for another client, return to the client summary page or log off.

11 MTA s 15. To process an MTA locate your policy on the Client Summary page and click Amend. You will be taken through steps 6 14 above. You must enter today s date for the cover start date. Renewals 16. To process a Renewals locate your policy on the client summary page and click Renew. You will be taken through steps 6 14 above

12 17. To change your password select Change Password at the top of the screen and enter the old and new details. Click next 18. To contact a Chartis Underwriter please or call on the details provided under Contact Us at the top of the screen
