During the class, the teacher explains the main theoretical concepts and assists students while they work on the practical exercises on the computer. Learning objectives of the subject L'objectiu de l'assignatura és donar a l'alumne una formació sòlida en un dels programes de disseny gràfic més utilitzat en el món de l'enginyeria (AutoCAD). L'aprenentatge es basa en l'estudi detallat dels fonaments numèrics i geomètrics del disseny, garantint així uns coneixements aplicables i ampliables posteriorment en l'exercici de la professió. En aquest sentit, s'analitza en detall la part de geometria bidimensional, que és de gran aplicació a l'enginyeria. La modelització tridimensional, d'aplicació més restringida, es presenta en forma d'exemple a la recta final del curs. El curs abasta també tots aquells aspectes pràctics, de format i específics necessaris per a la creació de plànols amb el software de treball. El objetivo de la asignatura es dar al alumno una formación sólida en uno de los programas de diseño gráfico más utilizado en el mundo de la ingeniería (AutoCAD). El aprendizaje se basa en el estudio detallado de los fundamentos numéricos y geométricos del diseño, garantizando así unos conocimientos aplicables y ampliables posteriormente en el ejercicio de la profesión. En este sentido, se analiza en detalle la parte de geometría bidimensional, que es de gran aplicación en la ingeniería. The aim of the subject is to give students a solid education in one of the design tools that is most used in the world of engineering (AutoCAD). The learning process is based on the detailed study of the numerical and geometric foundations of the design, ensuring the knowledge is applicable and can be subsequently extended in the exercise of the profession. In this sense, we analyse in detail the two-dimensional geometry, which is widely used in engineering. Three-dimensional modelling, of more restricted application, is presented as an example at the end of the course. The course also covers all practical aspects needed to create engineering drafts using the reference design software. 5 Qualification system Throughout the course, students must complete a practical work and an exam. The student's final grade will be the average between both marks. The practical work must be completed individually and is used to assess student progress with regard to their practical knowledge. The exam is performed in a computer classroom and consists of a written theoretical part and a practical part, which is performed on the computer. Criteria for re-evaluation qualification and eligibility: Students that failed ordinary evaluation and have been regularly attending tests throughout the course will have the option to perform a re-evaluation test during the period specified in the academic calendar. The highest mark for the subject in the case of attending the evaluation exam will be five. In the case of justified absences to the regular evaluation tests that prevent the assessment of some parts of the contents of the subject, with prior approval of the Head of Studies, students may get evaluated by the re-evaluation test of the contents that have not been previously examined as well as the contents whose tests students have failed. The limitation on the maximum mark shall not apply to the parts assessed for the first time. Regulations for carrying out activities If the student does not provide the practical work on time or does not solve the exam, he or she will be qualified with No Presentat.
