2 Mission Statement/ Déclaration de mission Hylands Golf Club, as part of the Canadian Forces Personnel Support Program, is to provide an affordable, enjoyable, firstclass golf venue in the National Capital Region for Canadian Armed Forces personnel and their families, and others who may be accepted as members into the Club. Dans le cadre du programme de soutien accordé au personnel des Forces canadiennes, la mission du club de golf Hylands est d offrir des activités de golf abordables, agréables et de première classe dans la région de la capitale nationale pour le personnel des Forces armée canadiennes et leurs familles ainsi qu à d autres personnes qui pourraient être acceptées à titre de membre du club.

7 Improved Customer Service / Efficiencies Continuously provide excellent customer service in every department, to separate us from the crowd We realize that there are lots of options for golf. We are the best option, and we want to prove it to you Streamlining office procedures (i.e. member cards, bag tags, etc.)

8 Communication We will do our best to provide timely, clear and constant communication from the Club to the membership Encourage members to use contact us 48 hour rule for answers to questions This is the most criticized aspect of management by staff, membership etc. at all entities, but the easiest to fix. We have nothing to hide, so why hide

9 Some Concerns raised at October 2014 Q & A Night Governance & Transparency --minutes and financials now posted --members charter Single Rider Rate --Has been introduced for 2015 season - $17.70 Former Military Green Fee Rate --Implemented tiered system, $32 active, $38 former, $44 civilian Cart Packages Honoured --We have made contact and honoured cart packages from previous season WE ARE LISTENING!

21 Work completed in 2014 & early 2015: North Course Halfway House completed as scheduled in 2014 New furnaces were installed all at once instead of phase-in approach in order to realise savings and operate clubhouse year round for additional revenues Maintenance Staff Building: remediation was completed, with renovations done to the inside and outside, new roof & siding, including a new Air Cond unit Parking lot lines were painted Various new dining room tables/chairs were purchased Completed repairs to walk-in fridges and updated the flooring in this area to make it more user friendly Breezeway was reinsultated to correct heating loss issue Front office was renovated due to ongoing roof leaks

22 Ongoing work in 2015: Building Condition Reports: 1st Phase is completed & now working on Phase 2. Septic System construction has started in May and to be completed in mid-june 2015 Long Term Facility Plan: Many improvements to the infrastructure have occured over the last few years and we will continue to go forward with a long term goal of reducing operating expenses while continuing to provide a safe and healthy workplace for the staff and our members.
