3 Project Spotlight: Executive Interviewing Project Co-Project Leads: Cynthia Beath and Jim Short Goals To conduct upper management interviews in Fall 2008, organized by level of management, industry sector (including government and corporate research labs), company size and corporate performance, including market position, competitive performance, information and information technology challenges, innovation record and management leadership To analyze the pooled interview data and abstract key lessons and insights, and include these, along with direct quotes, in the HMI? 2009 report 3

4 Project Spotlight: Executive Interviewing Project Interview Team We are now putting together the interview team, which will include HMI and Oracle Center Advisors, HMI Project Researchers, and Selected Senior Faculty We will build out the interview team to 8-10 individuals Interview wish list on the order of 50 individuals Note: We will not be able to interview everyone on the list 4
