The technology outcomes are extremely important in contributing to the University s primary areas of emphasis: 1) ensuring viable academic programs (online and face-to-face), 2) developing enrollment levels sufficient to support the University s mission, 3) establishing a strong campus-wide ethic of customer service, and obtaining private resources. The CIO advises the President on all matters related to information technology and oversees the development and implementation of the University s policies and procedures regarding information technology recommending new ones as needed. Technology Consultant, WSIexpertsolutions LLC (2000-Present) Consultant specializing in Technology Assessments, Strategic Planning, Creating Technology Plans, Technology Return on Investments, and Technology Budgeting. Worked as an Internet Consultant with WSIexpertsolutions working with small to medium size businesses creating to optimize marketing strategies for the Internet; i.e. (Pay per Clicks), Website Analytics, Content Marketing, Mobile Website Designs, Deploying Marketing Campaigns and Managing their Internet Assets. CTO / Assistant Superintendent Jefferson Parish Public Schools, Metairie, Louisiana ( ) As CTO and Assistant Superintendent at Jefferson Parish Public Schools, the second largest School district in the state of Louisiana. Dr. Moore provided leadership and vision for all aspects of technology within the School District. Over the past five years Dr. Moore led a total metamorphosis of the schools and classrooms in Jefferson by converting all 89 school sites and four central office sites to a state-of-the-art Network(100Mbps), and 21 st Century Classrooms with interactive Promethean Boards, Laptops, ipads, ipods, Digital Cameras, Video Cameras with Multi-Media Technologies, Ceiling Mounted Projectors, and new learning technologies in Jefferson s classrooms for enhanced reading, end-ofcourse testing, WiKi(s), and online professional development systems. Dr. Moore is a proven leader with more than fourteen years as a Sr. Level Administrator responsible for the strategic development and delivery of large K-12 urban systems and large College level academic and administrative information technology systems. She has worked at a number of Community Colleges across the country (nine years having supervised all aspects of information technology, institutional research and planning, facilities management, and library and learning resources with large project, staff, and budgeting responsibilities. 2
3 Moore has prior experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems (BANNER, PEOPLESOFT), software systems, including Open Source and COTS (Commercial-Off The-Shelf) systems that have been aligned or interfaced with existing technology systems and web-based software systems and services. She installed the first ERP and Web Based system (BANNER) trained all client departments at Baton Rouge Community College during their formative years ( ). Dr. Moore has a proven tract record of proactive, inter-departmental collaboration and problem solving as well as executive leadership experience in information technology, with direct management experience for units within the division including (academic and instructional technologies, programming, network and security, infrastructure, and help desk and technical support). Dr. Moore has prior experience teaching online courses as well as several LMS(s) (Learning Management Systems), including - (Blackboard, Desire2Learn, and Mootle). Campus CIO for Learning Resources, Miami Dade College North Campus, Miami Florida ( ) As Chief Information Officer for Learning Resources at Miami Dade s North Campus, Dr. Moore provided strategic vision and leadership for the Renaissance of Miami Dade s North Campus by providing Media Services, Network Services, Helpdesk and Technical Support Services, Computer Court Yard and Learning resources at Libraries at two locations. She volunteered to work with a number of Student Services Committees and to assist Facilities Services with construction of new buildings whenever needed. Additional responsibilities included serving as a senior administrator on the Campus President s Cabinet and acting as the primary liaison between the college and community regarding technology needs and assessments.
