ADMINISTRATIVE PROFILE Senior Associate Athletic Director, Academic& Athletic Performance 2012 Present State University of New York at Buffalo Provides leadership of the Center for Excellence in Academic and Athletic Performance which includes Sports Medicine, Athletic Training, Sports Performance, Student-Athlete Excellence, and Academic Services. An Executive TEAM that manages all aspects of the Athletics Department and its $27 million budget. Sport Administrator for the following sports programs: Men s and Women s Track and Field, Men s and Women s Cross Country, Wrestling. Responsible for budget management, policy making, staff supervision, and program evaluation of the departments under the Center for Excellence in Academic and Athletic Performance and assigned sports programs. Ensures compliance with institution, MAC conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Member of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education s Cabinet. Actively involved in athletic development and recruiting activities. Provides vision and leadership to academic facility improvements, including planning and design of study lounge and computer lab areas. 2 Senior Associate Athletic Director, Academics & Sport Management State University of New York at Buffalo Reporting directly to the Director of Athletics and responsible for the overall leadership and management of the academic advisement and support program, student-athlete development program for 20 varsity sports with over 550 student-athletes. Provides leadership and direction to 120 full-time and part-time staff, including 8 coaches and manages budgets in excess of $2 million. Sport Administrator for the following sports programs: Baseball, Men s and Women s Track and Field, Men s and Women s Cross Country, Wrestling. Provides strategic planning and leadership within the areas of academics and studentathlete development, including budget management, policy making, and staff supervision. Responsible for the overall direction and management of the academic support program and the student-athlete affairs department. Responsible for coordinating the NCAA Certification Self-Study process. Significantly increased Academic Performance Rate Improving from 4 teams to 1 below the NCAA cut score of 925 in 3 years. Football, who had an APR 3 years ago below 870, will report an APR of 921 in spring 2010 and an all-time high of 930 in spring o Football team achieve highest semester GPA in fall of 2008 while winning UB s first ever conference championship. o All women s team achieved a team GPA above a 3.0 in spring 2009, fall 2010, and spring o Student-athletes were involved in over 2000 hours of community service in academic years and Associate Athletic Director, Academics & Student-Athlete Affairs University at Buffalo Provides leadership to the Academic Services and Student-Athlete Development programs.
