4 Touring Club Italiano Inchiesta agricoltura e turismo In the district there are 20 thousand structures, including 16,500 with housing, catering and 3300 and 9900 with areas dedicated to the tasting of local products, from wine to cheese, from oil to meats, to fruit jams. These structures over the last decade have seen increased attendance by 111 percent. Half come from abroad, confirming the importance of the Internet and the attention that the international audience ask our landscape and its products.

18 RETE ESCURSIONISTICA DELLA VALTIBERINA The Rete Escursionistica di Valtellina (REV) is proposed as a network of paths new concept, rational and modern, created to lead the tourists to explore the endless wonders that the Tiber is able to offer. The different paths are arranged in a homogeneous SYSTEM that connects most of the tourist attractions and environmental companies with carriers interest, both in tourism and rural areas, which are present throughout. The R.E.V. also includes the rediscovery of ancient routes (such as the streets of transhumance, the mule of coal, the streets of the pilgrims, the old tracks, etc.).
