ITT manufactures and designs individual projects for customers and can customize specifications to any approved material such as metal, plastic, rubber, foam and silicone products in either a semi-finished or pre-fabricated form. Interturbine Technologies GmbH has been approved and certified by the National Aviation Authority - Luftfahrt Bundesamt (LBA) - according to EASA Part 21G egulations with Approval No. DE.21G.0155 as a manufacturing company for the production of aircraft parts. Additionally ITT fulfils the standards AS9100 ev C / JIS Q 9100:2009 / EN 9100: ISO 9001:2008. 7 Tool Control System & Component Control System Leaving a tool in an aircraft or engine is not just an inconvenience, it is a safety risk. ealizing this, Interturbine Technologies GmbH designs and manufactures Tool Control System and Component Control System kits for airlines and maintenance companies. The precision-cut foam enables engineers to see at a glance which tool is missing. Tool control enhances safety. 8 ater Jet Cutting ater jet cutting. At present, this segment uses pure water jet cutting for NTF (non-textile flooring), which is fitted in all aircraft lavatories. This NTF is cut to size based on drawings. Then, in a second step, a special adhesive film is applied, which is subsequently used to affix the covering to the floor pan. NTF is not only produced for aeroplane manufacturers: queries have also already been received from helicopter makers. This new technology is capable of much more, however.
