1 WRITING SAMPLE The school is thinking about making a new lunch menu. The menu is supposed to have healthier, tastier choices. I think an easy way to make a better school lunch menu is to add a pizza choice each day. Almost every kid I know loves pizza. If the school offered pizza every day, kids would buy hot lunch more often. So, the school lunch program would make more money than it does now. Even though pizza is tasty, it can also be very healthy. The pizza crust can be made from whole-wheat dough. Plus, you can put almost every kind of vegetable, and even some fruit, on pizza. Pizza is also fast and easy to make. You can use frozen dough and premade sauce. Then, all you have to do is add your toppings and bake it. Pizza is a smart choice for school lunch. The school would keep kids happy, feed them nutritious food, and make money, all at the same time. I know that if the school offered pizza on its menu, I would buy hot lunch every day.
