When the rhythm of this dance changes, the sound it produces also changes each atom perpetually sings its song. Our body and our organs are made from sound. We believe that all of our hearts and minds have the inner technology and the capability to identify those sounds that are created and produced by real artists with passion and love. Then comes the moment when this sound information enters our body through our ears. The spine tingles, we get goosebumps, we are smiling and we begin to move. Dancing. 3 welcome to SoNUS 2015 Welcome to Pag Island and the 3rd Sonus festival. In such a short time Sonus has become an international hotspot for electronic music lovers and in fact all sorts of lovers. This is a place and an event that has beauty and fun written all over it whether it be in the sunlight or the moonlight. We will be welcoming people from all over the world. Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, North and South America all represented. We believe that from every corner of the world all roads can lead to the dancefloor and we bring you an environment and music that in our humble opinion stands out from any other festival or event. Please respect each other and enjoy your experience. We also ask that you respect the nature on the island and not to put waste on the beaches and streets. We are just as excited as we hope you are but it is vital that we express again that Sonus has values that go beyond the party. In this booklet, you will find some important information about the different aspects and logistics of the festival such as: Where to get my wristband? Sonus Festival check-in of my travel operator? The festival shuttle wristband is valid on all bus lines on the islands for 24 hours/7 days. During the peaktime (13:00-08:00) shuttle buses will drive more often. 6 MAIN road kalypso I. How to Get YoUr wristband In order to get your festival wristband, you need to go to the Sonus Festival Check-in tent at Zrce beach, close to Papaya and Aquarius. You can easily recognise them. There you will exchange your print-at-home or mobile ticket to a wristband. The box office is placed next to the main entrance of Aquarius club main. As long as the tickets are not sold out, we will be offering different types of Sonus tickets including festival tickets, day tickets and Festival Shuttle tickets. A further box office will be at the bus station in the centre of Novalja, close to the roundabout and close to the harbour. A Sonus flag will mark the location. 7 II. How to Get YoUr wristband GUEST LIST The guest list check-in tent will be in front of Papaya club. From Tuesday 18th of August, the guest list will be at the Sonus Festival Check-in tent on the beach. Please always show your ID card and your guest list ticket to get your wristband. Don t lose your wristband! We cannot replace it! Checking-in with day tickets is only possible on the day the tickets are valid for. INFOPOINT / HELP DESk The infopoint is directly on the corner of Papaya club s main entrance. Here we answer further questions about Sonus/Novalja or assist you with general needs. If you experience any discrepancies or problems with anything, please ask our help desk team for assistance. SONUS MERCHANDISE SHOP Here you will find all of our Sonus items such as t-shirts, bags or fans. The shop is located at the info point on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August. From Monday 17th to Thursday 20th at the Sonus Festival check-in tent where you had to exchange your wristband. READY? All boats depart from Novalja harbor not Zrce beach! (Domagojeva obala kneza Domagoja 2, Novalja harbor) 2. Meet at the boat party point on Novalja pier, at least 30 minutes before your boat departs with your booking confirmation / ticket & ID 3. once your ticket has been scanned you will board straight away 4. You are not able to bring any drinks on board, you will be searched before boarding. 5. Drink tokens are available for purchase on the boat. There is a bar on the boat. 6. Very Important Rule: No jumping in to the sea from the boat / pier. If you do so, we will remove your wristband instantly. You will not be allowed into the festival anymore. 7. Any use of drugs on board is strictly forbidden. Boat parties are sold out. The normal festival or day tickets are not valid for boat parties. 14 QuEstions & AnswERs TEMPORARILY CLOSING OF CLUBS? There might be times that clubs are temporarily closed due to security reasons. We indicate this with red flags at the entrance. open clubs are labelled with green flags. WHAT IF I FEEL ILL / NEED MEDICAL SUPPORT? There are medics available at Zrce Beach. They walk around but there is also a medical tent at the beach. IS THERE WIFI AT THE FESTIVAL? There is no public WIFI at Zrce beach. look out for WiFi signs around Novalja, in cafes and along the sea front. HOW CAN I PAY? on the beach and at the clubs you can only pay with kuna, the Croatian currency. There are many currency exchange agencies all over Novalja. kuna has the approximate rates: 1 = 10,7 hrk; 1 Euro = 7,6 hrk, 1 usd = 6.94 hrk. Exchange rates are subject to changes. No guarantee on these rates, just an approximate value. CAN I GET CASH AT THE FESTIVAL? WHAT ABOUT PAYING WITH MY CARD? There are numerous cash machines located in Novalja and on Zrce beach. All major credit cards should be accepted in the clubs. To be sure please ask there before ordering. We recommend you store an emergency amount of funds at your accommodation just in case you loose your money during the festival. Thanks to everybody who supported us I VE LOST MY PHONE / WALLET / PASSPORT, WHAT DO I DO? You can talk to a member of the staff in the clubs or our help desk to see if any found goods have been turned in. In case you have lost something valuable then be sure to report it to the local police. This might also be required from your insurance company. Please also make sure to cancel your cards.
