1 INSTALLING CITRIX RECEIVER ON WINDOWS XP OR VISTA HOME COMPUTER FOR EXISTING CITRIX USER NOTE: SPEECH MIKE OR ANY DEVICE SPECIFIC TO BIGHAND MUST BE UNPLUGGED STEP 1 - UNINSTALL 1. Click on the Start Button. 2. Select Control Panel. 3. Select Add or Remove Programs. 4. Select "Terminal Client Plug In for BigHand Digital Dictation Client 3": 5. Click Remove and Yes. 6. Once the Uninstall is complete, select "BigHand Digital Dictation Phillips Device Drivers" and Uninstall 7. Once the Uninstall is complete, select "Citrix Online Plug-in Web" and Uninstall 8. Once all three items have been uninstalled, close the Add or Remove Programs window. 9. Restart the PC. STEP 2 INSTALLING CITRIX RECEIVER 1. Disable your virus protection software. Visit your provider's website or call their support line to confirm on how to do this if not known. *** Remember to turn your Virus Protection back on after the install. *** 2. 2 3. Click "Download and Install MDWCG Bighand/Citrix Client" under Step Two for "Existing Citrix Users" 4. You will receive a Security Warning. Select Save. 5. Save the file to your Desktop. 6. Close the Download Complete Window. 7. On your Desktop, find the MDWCG-Citrix-BH-2013 file. 8. Right click on the MDWCG-Citrix-BH-2013 file and select Run. 9. Let the install complete. 10. Restart your PC. 11. Turn your virus protection software back on. 01/ v2 Page 2 of 7 Revised 11/15/13

3 12. If you are not a BigHand user go to step If you are a BigHand user connect your SpeechMike to a USB port on your computer. On the task bar (lower right hand side of your screen), you may see an "Installing Device Driver Software" message. Wait for "Your Device is Ready to Use" message. NOTE: For consistency, connect to the same USB port every time you use your home computer for Citrix BigHand. 14. Go to Select "Log On to Citrix" 16. Enter your standard Windows Log In and Password. 17. Click "Desktop XA65" icon 18. Select "Yes" if you receive the following security message and Check the box "Do not ask me again for this site". 19. Select OK in the Reminder Policy. 01/ v2 Page 3 of 7 Revised 11/15/13

4 20. Citrix will take a few moments to launch. STEP 3 SETUP PROFILE SETUP YOUR CITRIX PROFILE BY OPENING & CONFIGURING YOUR APPLICATIONS 1. Log into Citrix. 2. Open Outlook. 3. Click New to create a new message then in Options Tab select Show BCC. Then close message window. 4. Click on FileSite in the navigation pane. (It will load the extensions the first time.) 5. Add Practice Group contacts by following these steps: a) Change view in Outlook from Mail to Folder List view. b) Expand Public Folders > All Public Folders > Your location > Practice Group.. c) Right-click on the appropriate Practice Group Contacts and choose Properties. Then select Outlook Address Book tab and check the box "Show this folder as an Address Book". d) Compress folders and click back on Mail view 6. If you are BigHand user proceed to Step 4 "Setting Up BigHand in Citrix" 7. Now Close all your programs and make sure to go to Start and Select Log Off. 8. Once the Citrix Desktop closes, Log Off the Gateway (CAG) window as well. STEP 4 ONLY PERFORM IF YOU ARE A BIGHAND USER 01/ v2 Page 4 of 7 Revised 11/15/13

5 SETTING UP BIGHAND IN CITRIX 1. Open BigHand. (Go to START button All Programs BigHand folder BigHand) 2. Go to Tools Options Audio Tab and select the device as appropriate: 3. Playback: Select SpeechMike II for the plain light gray color SpeechMike. Select SpeechMike III for the black/light gray color SpeechMike 4. Recording: Select the same device that was chosen in Playback. 5. Go to the Control Tab. 6. Select the appropriate device based on what was previously selected on the Audio Tab: (a) If SpeechMike II was selected, select Philips SpeechMike Classic Record with Slider. 01/ v2 Page 5 of 7 Revised 11/15/13

6 (b) If Speech Mike III was selected, select Philips SpeechMike 3. (c) Click OK. 7. Go to the Communication Tab. (a) Make sure the Primary Server, Backup Server and BigHand Services Address is complete (see chart below). Click OK to accept changes. Close BigHand and Re-open it. Confirm that you are connected by looking at the lower right hand side of your BigHand window. (see below) 01/ v2 Page 6 of 7 Revised 11/15/13

7 9. Revisit the Audio and Control tabs to make sure your selections were retained. If not, go back to No. 1 and repeat the whole process. 10. You are ready to start your dictation. 11.
