Mark Wright s football playing career spans over 18 years, during which he was Captain of England (45 caps), Captain of Liverpool FC, Captain of Derby FC, Captain of Southampton FC and Oxford FC. 4 The Premier Legends are Mark Wright A formidable Centre Half Mark Wright played 45 times for England most noticeably as part of the heroic 1990 World Cup Squad - leading England into the semi finals. For his efforts he was voted as player in the Team of the Tournament for the 1990 World Cup. He also Captained Liverpool (where as Captain he lifted the FA Cup in 1992), Captain of Southampton and Captain of Derby and led by example - a tough on the field player who showed no mercy in his defensive skill. Neville Southall Neville Southall is one of the best Goalkeepers the world has ever seen Club appearances a massive 578 of them for his beloved Everton Team. He also holds the record for the most Welsh Caps (92), the most League Appearances, the most League Cup Appearances and the most clean sheets. He was voted the FWA Footballer of the Year in 1985, the BBC Wales Sports Personality of the Year in 1995 and in 2004 voted Everton s All Time Cult Hero. Michael Thomas Michael Thomas played predominantly for Arsenal and Liverpool with 326 Club appearances throughout his career - he also represented his country. The highlight of his career was during the 1988/89 Title decider when Arsenal played Liverpool and Thomas scored chipping the winning goal past Grobbelar - a defining moment.thomas went on to play for Liverpool and scored a goal for the Reds in the 1992 FA Cup Final. Thomas lifted silverware in the 1986/87 League Cup, 1988/ /2000 First Division, 1991/92 FA Cup and 1994/95 League Cup. He was capped twice by England Peter Reid One of the best ever defensive midfielders to grace the game - Peter Reid enjoyed a long and successful career - starting off at Bolton Wanderers he was quickly signed to Everton where he helped win both domestic and European titles. In 1985 he was voted PFA Player of The year and came 4th in the World Soccer Player of the Year Award. He gained 13 caps for his country and left Everton to join Manchester City. He played a total of 529 games and after retirement went onto manage Clubs including Manchester City and England Under 21 s. David May David May was a tough centre back starting his career at Blackburn Rovers where he made 123 appearances - he was then signed to Manchester United in 1994 for 1.2 million where he made 85 appearances. He was instrumental in the success of Manchester United throughout the 1990 s and early 2000 s scoring a goal in the final against Middlesborough in the 1995/96 season which clinched the title for Manchester United. He was in the starting line up for the 1996 FA Cup Final victory against Liverpool and his team also reached the semi-finals of the Champions League (1996/7). He was affectionately chanted by the Manchester United Fans as David May Superstar! John Durnin John Durnin centre forward scored 100 goals over a career spanning nearly 20 years of which he made 475 League appearances. A native Liverpool lad he was signed on by LFC as a youngster and moved from there to Oxford United where he made 200 appearances before being sold to Portsmouth where he also made 200 appearances. Despite being the wrong side of 36 he continued successfully in the game managing 36 appearances in 2001/02 and 31 appearances in 2002/03. 4

Community Social Responsibility Program The day after the Tournament there will be an opportunity for children from across Gibraltar to train and enjoy a Master Class Coaching Session with the Legends. A once in a lifetime opportunity to learn invaluable skills, teamwork and proficiency from the Legends themselves. Premier Legends will also be scouting for any footballing talent for the English Clubs. In addition Mark Wright as a Foster Carer and Adoptive Parent himself is passionate about trying to ensure that there are enough Foster Carers for all children within the Care System. Premier Legends on the morning of the Tournament will welcome 200 Children for a Private Coaching Session with the Legends - a once in a lifetime opportunity for children within Gibraltar to be given positive memories for life.
