With a dedicated call centre, we can even offer your team support for those busy times. Affiliated businesses or agencies such as Tourist Information Centres can also (with your permission) use the system to sell tickets on your behalf helping you to maximise sales whilst still managing the number of tickets/seats sold. Peak sales for online tickets are between 6pm and 2am so if you re not already online, get selling out of office hours and even in your sleep! As long as you have access to the internet you can log into the system to see how your ticket sales are doing..wherever you are in the world! your customers. As the system is internet based there is no need for expensive hardware. A simple bar-code scanner at the point of entry attached to an online computer is ideal or, if you re running an event, we ve got guest reports or software you can put onto your laptop to allow tickets to be scanned, as though live, without an internet connection! 5 Tyg_Datasheets_Layout 1 02/03/ :41 Page 5 Tech talk The widget is HTML coding utilising JavaScript. The Tygit server hosts the JavaScript and CSS file. If you would like to utilise the CSS file to style the widget, please let us know and this can be sent. The widget looks to the Tygit system each time it is opened (the scrolling bar that you see is the widget talking to the Tygit system). For attractions/venues with multiple events, the widget can (and is recommended to) be added to each event page. Embedding the widget into the CMS is the ideal solution. The group selector by which tickets are selected can be short cut to show only tickets from that group rather than displaying the whole selection. This can be done by embedding the widget to allow the following lines to be editable (shown in yellow). <!-- Tygit Widget Begins --> <div id="buy-ticket" group="snowdrop General Admission"> By embedding the widget, you are aiming to have a simple box for the team to add the group name in (shown below) In this case, the widget will only display tickets that are available in the Snowdrop General Admission group. The groups are created by the attraction when setting up the tickets and should not contain any ampersands or hyphens. It is still recommended to have a catch all page for customers to go to for buy and save online where no group short cut is put in but allow the widget to display all published tickets. Minimum width for the widget is 420px and is designed to fill 100% of the available space once integrated. Broadband is recommended for redemptions which are achieved by simply scanning or entering the 9 digit code. A suitable scanner is highly recommended but not essential for smaller businesses selling low numbers of tickets. Scanners should be 2D and be able to accept PDF417 format 2D barcodes and should also be programmed to accept Code 93 1D barcodes. Various suppliers are available. We work with some who can provide suitable scanners preprogrammed so if you d like any support or advice, please just ask.

Tygit Attraction Our standard comprehensive module, suitable for most attractions (large or small) on a fixed site either regularly or occasionally open to the public. It also permits the setting up of your own independent payment gateway. This allows the use of the business s own ticket hotline (Mail Order & Telephone Order MOTO system) which means lower running costs as the payments go directly into your bank account, while still using all the other functionality of the Tygit system. There have been no technical issues arising that I am aware of which is very good news, had it been necessary I am aware that support is available at weekends etc when not all suppliers are able to offer this. We used the system to sell tickets on line from the Levens Hall web site for the Chilli Fest in 2011 and sold many tickets in advance. Sadly the event had to be cancelled and customers refunded. With a set number of boats, available for 1, 2 or 4 hour hire with 1, 2, 4, 6 or 8 people, the challenge is to ensure that over bookings didn't occur and the team were kept informed of the bookings to ensure that they didn't hire out on the day, boats that were pre-booked. Working closely with the team, Tygit delivered a unique solution and has successfully allowed customers, for the first time, to buy online.
