Get off the bus at the bus stop Centre Hospitalier By car The CHL provides its visitors and patients parking lots that are accessible at any time of day or night, depending on availability. 5 Preparing your stay in Luxembourg Luxembourg (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg) is a country in the western Europe, bordered by Belgium, France and Germany. All of the rooms at the Mercure include air conditioning, a minibar and a flat-screen satellite TV. The Palais Grand-Ducal and the Natural History Museum are a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The European Congress Centre is less than 4 km away. Parc Merveilleux is just over 10 minutes away by car. Grand Alfa has a 24-hour reception and an airport shuttle service is available upon request. The Alfa Brasserie serves regional Luxembourgian cuisine in surroundings inspired by the décor and ambience of Parisian brasseries from the 1930s. 6 Climate Like most of the Western Europe, Luxembourg has a moderate climate. The seasons are characterized by cool summers and cold, cloudy and humid winters. A nice time of the year to visit is spring (May to June) and autumn (September to October). For the festive period at the end of the year, the weather can also become dry, cold or snowy. Electricity The voltage in Luxembourg is 220v and the standard European two-pin plug is used. North American and British travelers are advised to bring adaptors with them to Luxembourg as they are not widely available in the city.
