1 Arriving to Warsaw By plane: There are two main airports in Warsaw: Warsaw Chopin Airport operating all major airlines and located near the city centre: It takes about 20/30 minutes to get from the airport to the city centre taking a taxi and about 30/40 minutes if you decide to take a bus Buses: A line 175 will take you to the Main Railway Station stop Dworzec Centralny, a line 188 will take you to the underground station stop Metro Politechnika. Taxis: For safety reasons we strongly advise you to use licensed taxi services offered at Chopin Airport. Taxi tariffs should be clearly displayed in the car window. The taxi fare from the airport to the city centre is approximately PLN 40 (daytime). Modlin Airport serving for Ryanair. The airport is markedly further away from the city and as it is a new investment, transport options are still being organized there is a direct bus from the airport to the city centre which takes about an hour. Train ride to the Main Railways Station (Warszawa Centralna) takes about 1,5 hour. We recommend you choosing Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) as it is closer to the city centre and has more connections. By train: There are suitable connections to Warsaw from major cities e.g., Berlin, Vienna, Prague. Information about the connections can be found at the website of the Polish Railways (PKP) - or on the national railway websites such as Deutche Bahn If you choose to travel by train the Main Railway Station (Warszawa Centralna) should be your destination. It is not far from most of the recommended hotels and from Warsaw School of Economics.

3 Conference venue The conference will take place at the Warsaw School of Economics (Szkoła Główna Handlowa), in the building C, Aula II. Addres of the venue: al. 5 Public transport The conference venue is easy accessible by the public transport. For instance, if you choose to stay at the Mercure Hotel the bus or tram stops are located near the Main Railway Station just a few steps away. You may take a tram number 17 or 33, or a bus number 174 and you are just five stops away from your destination! There is a useful webpage to help you find the best connections: The tickets for bus / tram / underground can be purchased at the Newsagent's or at the ticket machines. Tickets should be validated as you start your journey. If you are staying at one of the recommended hotels a 20-minutes ticket will suffice to get to the Conference.
