2 TMS NEWS NGCS CHANGES TM Solutions' participation in the Openreach Complaints Trial May 2015 TMS has been participating in this trial since April The following information is in advance of the industry wide communications which is currently with the Openreach communications team ready for imminent publication on the Openreach Portal. TMS has been participating Openreach rolled out the use of the new Portal screens by which CPs raise complaints (not DSO) cases in April. The trial concluded successfully and was transitioned to the next stage. Feedback from CPs in the trial was that the screens were easy to use and while the volumes were low it showed the screens were usable and that the teams could manage the cases using Single Interface (SI) in Openreach.1 To download full details, simply click here New Ofcom NGCS changes - Effective 1st July 2015 Major changes to the regulation of the main non-geographic number ranges will come into effect on 1st July The below whitepaper aims to explain why the changes are being introduced, what these changes could mean, what will be required of communication providers to comply with the new regulations, and the predicted impact on the billing process. click here : Non-Geographic Call Services - Get Ready For the Change We have been working on the programming required for the 80 new industry agreed NGCS charge groups, further details of this are to follow once programming is completed. We are yet to receive new TMS pricing from our carriers, but will confirm once we have all details. For any CP that uses non-tms carriers, please contact your carriers for further information and advise your TMS account advisor. GEN031/15 New consolidated IVR - Making it easier for you to Openreach. Openreach has been reviewing the customer entry points into the Customer Service call centre to provide a simpler, easier experience on the IVR (Interactive voice response). They identified a number of options which are redundant as they route to the same pool of agents, so have consolidated these to give a simpler IVR experience as part of their commitment to simplify the way they work. Next Steps The new Openreach Customer Service number is FREE and is now available to use The official IVR changeover will take place on 30 April 2015 On the 30 April 2015 all current IVR numbers affected will be switched off and all CPs will be required to dial the new Openreach Customer Service number. A recorded message will be activated as of 30 April 2015 advising agents to redial the new IVR number (These are listed below) click here : New Openreach IVR Structure

We would like to bring your attention to an active fraud involving Telecoms companies throughout the UK, with the latest attempt on Tuesday afternoon. Some of you may have heard of the fraudster 'Josif' before, a man who calls in looking to purchase Virtual Telephone numbers (mainly 0203) and wants to divert them to mobile. 'Josif' is still active and also tries to buy hosted telephony arranging the use of soft phones. He may also inquire about diverting these to Paris or similar....
