Our contracts are designed exclusively for tenants, with a telecoms contract for the same term as your tenancy agreement (or a 6 month rolling contract for home owners). Convenience In most instances our enhanced service is up and running when you move in and turned off the day you move out, without any penalties. Calls to any UK mobile are the cheapest around at only 10 ppm with no hidden charges. 9 What happens next... For now you don't need to do anything - it's all down to us! From this point forward we will do everything we can to have your complete service set up by the time you move in. If your details have been passed on to us our Sales Administration team will contact you via or phone to confirm your moving date and take further instructions for setting up your service and Direct Debit facility. You will receive a Welcome Pack by or in the post and we will make the necessary arrangements at your new property. In most instances your service will be live at the property when you start your occupancy (or shortly afterwards). Under the terms of your contract (if you are a tenant) you will be given the free loan of a Broadband router which is separately detailed in your inventory. It is important that you leave this item behind when you vacate the property as we levy a charge of for missing equipment on a client's final bill. How did you get my details? All home owners and tenants moving into properties registered with your agent have their move details passed to Home Telecom in order that we can set up their account with the minimum of hassle. When you signed your paperwork with your agent you authorised them to pass your details on to us. We go to great lengths to protect the information we hold and restrict that information to what is required to supply you with a telephone line and Broadband. Q. Who are Home Telecom and Global 4? What happens if I have a fault? On the Broadband router supplied with your service is a contact number for you to get hold of us as and when required. You can access our service portal 24/7 for 365 days a year and talk to our UK based customer service support during operational hours - we are there when you need us most. Q. Other people share my property, how will this work? To ease communication, Home Telecom asks your agent to nominate one person to act as lead contact. All this means is that we will write to and call one person regarding your account.
