5 Secure under all circumstances In the event of a power failure, the Zurich North data center continues to be supplied with power, and it is also optimally protected against a fire outbreak. This way, your data is available at all times. Power is supplied via two completely independent power lines. Redundant UPS systems and a high-performance diesel generator ensure that the data center s high availability requirements are met even in the event of an emergency. All materials used in the Zurich North data center are flame resistant. Thanks to the early warning fire detection system, even minor deviations are detected. Our data center has a nitrogen fire extinguishing system for automatically triggered fire fighting. The data center is continually cooled, ensuring optimum climatic conditions with respect to air flow, temperature, and humidity. Our cooling system is guaranteed through (N+1) redundancy. We continually upgrade our infrastructure, optimize energy efficiency, and integrate the latest security measures.
