18 4. Show and Tell As requirements gathering can be overwhelming, the business needs to establish a framework for the required elements to be brought together. When categories are established, it s easier to identify where the reporting requirements fit and when necessary for new ones to be created. - Initially this began with the business identifying the key component areas in which the reporting can be categorised. - Then initial drafts were put together envisaging what would be captured into each of the categories. 18
