3 VOICE MAIL: START-UP SITUATION IN TEM OPERATORS - SERVICES - ALL OPERATORS IN THE GROUP HAVE ALREADY IMPLEMENTED THE VOICE MAIL BASIC SERVICE. PROBLEM: Low penetration in some TEM Operators. Low revenues per active Voice Mail, compared to TM Spain. SOLUTION: To implement in all Operators the missing features to equal TM Spain Voice Mail functionality ( Advanced Voice Mail ). To further develop the Voice SVA portfolio. 5 INTERNATIONAL PROJECT: VOICE SERVICES & PLATFORMS FOR OPERATORS GOALS To select two suppliers for the Voice Multi-service Platform on which to develop a rich offer of voice services: Voice Mail (VM) with advanced features (call return, multi CLI, empty call capture, etc). Lost Call Notification. Vocal Access to Services and Contents (Voice Portal, VP). Evolution to Unified Messaging (UM). To define the global requirements needed for this offer. To include in the selected platforms the capabilities needed to support such services, by transferring the technology used in TME. 9 TEM ADVANCED VOICE MAIL : Features ALREADY SUPPORTED BY SELECTED PLATFORMS: CLI IN MESSAGE NOTIFICATIONS Calling number identification (CLI) & date/ time are included in message notifications. EMPTY CALLS WARNINGS Users are informed about calls received in their VM without leaving any message. CALL RETURN Users listening to a message in their VM (or to the available options), can return the call to the user who left the message. 10 TEM ADVANCED VOICE MAIL : Features (II) UNDER STUDY FOR VM PHASE 2: DIRECT DEPOSIT The calling party can leave a message in the VM though the called party is available. MMS NOTIFICATION MMS users can receive MMS notifications of new messages in their VM with the real voice message embedded. VISUAL VOICE MAIL Users with advanced handsets can easily access and manipulate messages through an -like user interface for the voice mail ( client ).
