3 ABOUT HORECA JORDAN Under the Patronage of H.E. Nidal Al Qatameen, Jordan s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities. First-time presence in Jordan for HORECA JORDAN, the largest Food & Beverage Services and Hospitality Exhibition in the region. The Exhibition was held in Amman, Jordan on the October, 2014 at the Zara Expo Center at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The annual exhibition covered: food & beverage services and hospitality Sectors from Jordan and the region, including Palestine, Iraq and Egypt. Various other regional and international countries were present with pavilions. Business networking opportunities were supplemented with different attractions and competitions availing participants with exposure to new and innovative business ideas.

5 HORECA JORDAN 2014 was a fantastic piece of work A dream come true that started in 2012 and was achieved with great success in its first edition. SUCCESSFUL 1 ST EDITION OF HORECA JORDAN A huge sense of Satisfaction and Pride is heartily felt by the organizing team. Everybody worked very hard to pull off a winner show. 9 HORECA JORDAN 2014 LIVE EVENTS The Salon Culinaire is part of HORECA JORDAN exhibition. The competition was attended by the President of the World Association of Chefs Society (WACS) as well as international and regional Judges. Visitors were invited to watch chefs competing in different categories, and discover the region's latest culinary concepts and trends and meet a panel of international judges from Europe and the Middle East coming especially for this annual event. HORECA JORDAN organized the Jordan Bed Making Competition. Hotel Housekeepers and hotel management student are invited to compete and make the perfect bed setting in front of a professional Jury Panel. For the first time in Jordan and organized by HORECA JORDAN, the country's most skilled and professional baristas competed for the coveted title of the Best Barista in Jordan.
