3 Our solution: the functions Management and administration of mobile transactions for cash withdrawals using mobile phones at self-service machines Generation of transaction codes (Blue Code) and dispatch via messaging services, e.g. text message Provision of interface to front- and backend systems and communication with them Journaling and reporting server, the server generates a transaction code called the "Blue Code" which is sent as a text message directly to the recipient via messaging services. The sender informs the recipient of the "Red Code" directly, e.g. by phone. At the ATM, the recipient doesn't need to insert a bank card: instead, he or she simply selects the "Convenience cash" function and enters the two codes, either using the keypad or via contactless transmission. Following confirmation of the two codes, the ATM dispenses the money. The transaction can be initiated through a num ber of different delivery channels: self-ser vice terminal, mobile phone, Inter net or front office. A mobile phone is all you need to withdraw cash from the self-service system no bank card is required. A whole range of practical examples shows how useful this type of service can be for your custom ers. If a customer purchases a product at auction, for instance, the purchase price can be quickly and easily transferred from the customer's bank account to the auctioneer. The advantage for the custom - er is that the purchased goods can then be shipped immediately. The software also allows foreign workers to transfer money to their families at home rapidly and at relatively low cost. Even the predicament of having lost your wallet while away from home and needing cash in hurry can be solved without any additional trouble. "Convenience cash" initiate cardless withdrawals in any delivery channel After successful authorization in the se - lect ed delivery channel, the customer can initiate the mobile transaction. The key transaction parameters are set using the "convenience cash" function. These include the account from which the money is to be debited, the relevant amount, the recipient's mobile number, the validity period of the transaction and the "Red Code", a mul ti-digit security code chosen by the customer.
