2 Sports Museum Established in 1961, the San Diego Hall of Champions is committed to showcasing the city s rich sports history by honoring the achievements of local athletes. The museum s exhibits cover high school to professional sports, ranging from such traditional ones as baseball and football, to the modern action sports of BMX and motocross. A walk through the San Diego Hall of Champions provides visitors with a narrative of the city s sports growth along with inspirational stories of its sporting legends. The Sailing Experience A new addition to the Hall of Champions is a state-of-the-art sailing exhibit featuring a fully-rigged, previously raced Star class boat. Guests will enjoy sailboat models and relevant imagery and information about the oldest international sporting trophy in continuous competition - the America s Cup. The exhibit also boasts video interactivity, including touch-screen and laser panels, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the sport of sailing.
3 Events Venue With more than 68,000 square feet of banquet, reception and meeting space, the Hall of Champions provides a backdrop for your event in an atmosphere of San Diego s rich and diverse sports history. Located minutes from downtown in beautiful Balboa Park, the Hall boasts a unique and spacious floor plan. Extensive catering, decor, rental and entertainment options make the Hall a perfect venue for your corporate conference, social event or school dance.

5 Event setup & Coordination The Hall of Champions can recommend table configurations or design one specific to your event. All venue rentals include tables and chairs, a PA system, house lighting, utilities, basic cleaning and janitorial services. In addition, we allow for a two hour set up and one hour tear down.
