This course, delivered on both a 16-week and 12-week basis, teaches principles of operations and supply chain management to students enrolled in USF s Masters in Information Systems program. The course is delivered via asynchronous online delivery. Designed curriculum and delivery methods for QMB-6305 Management Decision Analysis. This basic course in graduate statistics is delivered using a blended model of live and online instruction. Students in this course are mostly enrolled in USF s Masters of Business Administration program. Designed curriculum and delivery methods for GMS-7930 Management Decision Analysis. This live-instruction course presents basic statistical analysis to students enrolled in USF s Healthcare Certificate program. The program, offered through USF Health, includes students enrolled in graduate study in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and physical therapy. Designed curriculum and delivery methods for ISM-3431 Operations and Supply Chain Processes. This course teaches principles of Operations and Supply Chain Management to undergraduate students earning a degree in Information Systems. Designed curriculum and delivery methods for Lean Six Sigma, a semi-annual graduate course in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and Process Improvement. This innovative one-week immersion experience teaches principles of Lean and Six Sigma using in-class exercises, guest speakers, offcampus tours, and case projects. Designed curriculum and delivery methods for QMB-6603 Operations Management and Quality Enhancement. In this accelerated MBA course I heavily use distance learning technologies. I have shifted roughly half my course content to asynchronous delivery and regularly hold online office hours at times convenient to my students. All assignments are turned in, graded, and returned electronically. This delivery method has been very well received by my students, particularly those working full-time jobs while pursuing a degree. Executive Director, The Business of Medicine. This 16-part online program delivers business education to physicians and other healthcare professionals using an asynchronous model. Duties include counseling faculty in design and delivery of courses, interfacing with physician students, and representing USF s interests in this public/private partnership program Faculty coordinator of the BAMA/USF Certificate Program in Operations Management. Designed curriculum and policies for this 10-session program intended for local practicing manufacturing managers. This program is the product of a partnership between the University of South Florida and the Bay Area Manufacturers Association Teaching Materials Authored Lead author of Practicing POM with Dr. James H. Patterson of Indiana University. This book was a series of challenging quantitative practice problems designed to accompany the 5 th edition of Production and Operations Management by Everett E. Adam, Jr., and Ronald J. Ebert

Outside Activities Six Sigma Black Belt. Provided assistance to the Mosaic Company, a global producer of crop nutrients with significant operations in Florida. Helped Mosaic with data analytics in the study of employee hand injuries. Also helped develop a strategy to reduce instances of hand injuries in the workplace. Provided assistance to Aso, LLC, a large producer of private-label wound care products with American operations based in Sarasota, Florida. Aso sought assistance with data analysis in understanding certain supply chain problems. Associate Board Member, USF Federal Credit Union. Providing leadership and guidance in operating this $420 million financial institution serving more than 30,000 members in the USF community. Chair of the Supervisory Committee, USF Federal Credit Union. Lead a committee of credit union members to assure this $420 million financial institution meets all Federal regulations and serves the interests of its more than 30,000 members in the USF community. External consultant to the Hillsborough County Department of Children s Services Family Therapy Program. This innovative program uses a basic manufacturing environment as part of a therapy regimen for severely emotionally disturbed children and teens. Provide ongoing technical advice on product development and principles of manufacturing and assembly. External consultant to a large real estate firm with multiple offices in the Tampa Bay area. Lead a group of USF students in process improvement for a back-office contract-to-close process. External consultant to a large retail grocery concern seeking assistance with statistical analysis of product loss of bakery goods. Attended LAI Lean Educator s Conference, Minneapolis, MN, May, Attended Informing Science Conference, Macon, GA, June, Board member, Apollo Beach Chamber of Commerce. Assists with guiding and managing this organization of entrepreneurs and business professionals.
