It is both an exhibition and a contact sport, depending upon the focus either on taolu (forms) or sanda (boxing). Learning wushu is about improving your self-confidence and self-discipline. Like any other martial art, it increases your flexibility, strength, and body awareness. Wushu is a free drop in program which will provide children ages 6 and up with an introduction to the chinese martial art. This program will be non-contact and will focus on learning forms.
