2 Welcome to Dyno Nobel Internet Training System Welcome to the Tribal Dyno Nobel Internet Training System, an interactive system written in moodle. The Tribal Internet Training System (Tribal-ITS) gives you the power to organize, train, develop, present, and report your training data. The Tribal ITS has been developed by Tribal Software Inc. We at Tribal are very pleased with the tremendous response to the development of this product, and we are very proud to have Dyno Nobel as one of our customers. What is an Internet based training system? An Internet based training system stores and retrieves the training data within a Internet site. The Internet site can be accessed from any computer in the world. The user establishes a login with his/her personnel info and creates an account. This account will only be used by the user and is confidential and highly secured. Again this Internet Training system was designed for Dyno Nobel. Dyno Nobel customers, vendors and employees can complete courses, post documentation and information such as a syllabus, lecture slides, and reading assignments, post images and interactivity such as interactive maps, set up places to post readings and links to outside sites, build communities, and collaboration within the coursers that are created, have discussion forums and build class wiki's to help students interact with each other, set up assignments for students to hand in electronically and set up online exams to perform assessments inside of your courses. Basically you can build your courses, manage your grades, and manage all the activity of your students. Internet Access to log In Your Dyno Nobel training will be accessed from the following Internet address: From this Main page you can select the installation that you are preparing to train for: 1

3 After you select the installation you are preparing for you will see the following login training page: New Account New Users must select the New Accounts link and fill out the required information. All fields marked with the Red * are required fields. NOTE: Remember your login name and password for logging into the Internet Training System. 2

4 Username Field Username can be up to 40 characters. The field is case sensitive and can only contain text data characters, symbols and numerical characters. The User Name should not contain blank spaces. Example: RKAILEY = rkailey = Rkailey Password Field. The Password field is case sensitive and the password must have at least 8 characters, at least 1 numeric digit(s), at least 1 lower case letter(s), at least 1 upper case letter(s), and at least 1 nonalphanumeric character(s).. The Password should not contain blank spaces. IMPORTANT NOTE: Your address will be sent a notice that you must Allow to complete the registration. After you Allow then you will be able to log into the site. Launching your Dyno Internet based Training You launch and open your Dyno training session the same way you do any internet page. To open a training session 1. From your desktop launch your web browser (I.E., Google, etc.) 2. Type the Dyno training web site into the browser.. 3

5 3. From this Main page select the St. Helens Dyno Nobel Site. 4. Use your specific Name and Password to launch your session. 5. Select the training session under the My Courses window. 4

6 6. You will now be on the Topic Outline page. 7. To start your training select WATCH VIDEO Module 1. Your first presentation will start. Note: You will only have the ability to pause/start the video. 8. At the end of the video you will be given a password for your Quiz (Example below). Copy the password and select Click Here to take the quiz. The quiz password form will open. Paste the password into the field. Answer the question and select the Submit all and finish button. If you get it In-correct you will have the chance to retake the quiz or watch the video again. Note: You will only have two attempts to take a quiz and then the system will close your session. You can have the administrator clear your session. Your St. Helens administrator is Michael Cave (Office: Cell: ) 5

7 If you get the question correct you will see a page similar to the one below. Move over to the navigation window on the left and select modules to navigate to the next Video training module. 9. After going through all the Video training modules and attempting the quizzes the last module is a Statement you must watch and agree to. When the Closing statement has finished and you have selected the final Quiz, you must answer YES that you agree with the final statement. 6

8 You will now have the option to print your Certificate and bring this with you to the Dyno site. If you did not pass the training you must contact your appropriate administrator.
