4 OFFICIAL WITS COURSE MATERIAL How to Access the WiTS-CMS This lab guide will take you through the steps needed to access the Wireless Training Solutions (WiTS) Content Management System (CMS), create a new student account, perform the initial WiTS-CMS Login, enroll into your desired course, and enter the support pages for your online course.

5 Connecting to the WiTS-CMS You will access the online class student resources, including daily lesson plans, lab guides, downloadable files, applications, discussion forums, lessons, and documentation, by connecting to the WiTS Content Management System (WiTS-CMS) located at 1. To connect, bring up your preferred web browser and navigate to the URL listed above. FIGURE WiTS -CMS is located at Registering on the WiTS-CMS The first time that you connect to the WiTS website you will be required to register a new login account. This will allow you to access the online class support materials.

6 FIGURE Select course to enroll 2. Click the Login link which can be found in the upper right corner of the WiTS-CMS Home Page or click the title of the course you wish to enroll in.

7 FIGURE Select New Account 3. Click either the New Account link or the Create new Account button found on the right hand pane of the Login page.

Click the Create my new account button Note: The information gathered during this process is kept in the strictest confidence on our encrypted server, is used only by WiTS personnel. It is never entrusted to outside parties. Following the registration process you will be automatically added to the WiTS mailing list. You may opt out of this mailing list at anytime.

11 FIGURE Login Login to CMS 8. At this time you can select your class and login using the username and password you selected during the registration process.

12 Provide Enrollment Key FIGURE Enter Enrollment Key Enter Enrollment Key (a.k.a. Enrolment Key) At this time you will be asked to enter an Enrolment Key. This key should have been provided to you following your tuition payment. 1. Enter the Enrolment key in the box provided 2. Click the Enrol me in this course button

13 FIGURE CWSP Online Home page Subsequent Logins to the WiTS-CMS You will only be required to enter the Enrolment key at your first login. Following the initial registration and login procedure, each time you connect to the WiTS-CMS you will simply click the Login link in the upper right corner of the WiTS-CMS and supply the new user name and password that you entered during your initial registration. If you forget this login information you can easily request a reminder to be sent to your registered address. Once you are logged in you can also change your information from this link if you wish to do so. End of Lab This completes the description and activities for this workshop.
