5 SW01 Page 5 of 8 requirements Laying of all type of cables for package vendor supplied items and cables supplied by package vendor including special cables, system cables etc; a) Within prefabricated skids up to the interface junction boxes. b) Outside the prefabricated skids but within the package battery limits. c) Between package battery limit to Satellite Rack Room (SRR), if applicable. d) Between package battery limit to Main control room (MCR). e) Any other cable not specifically indicated but required to complete the instrumentation related activities Instrument air and its distribution within the package unit battery limit, as required Utility distribution, as required, within the battery limit of the package (such as cooling water, nitrogen, steam) specifically required for Instrumentation activities Earthing / grounding system for package instrumentation items, such as; a) Instruments, analyzers, local panels, gauge board, junction boxes etc supplied by package vendor. b) Control system supplied by package vendor. c) Integration with plant earthing system Auxiliary installation related activities necessary for instrumentation eg; a) Heat tracing of impulse lines and instruments within package battery limits. b) Insulation of impulse lines and instruments as applicable with package battery limit. c) Painting of impulse lines, instrument trays / ducts, structural members, supports within the package battery limit. 6 SW01 Page 6 of Power supply and its distribution; a) Power supply up to battery limit for instruments / analysers / control system (Destination load centre as local control panel / Local control room / local panel as applicable) b) Distribution of power supply within the battery limit of package (e.g. for instruments, analysers, local control panel, subpackaged items etc.) c) Distribution of power supply for control system installed in purchaser's control room. 2.6 Field testing, calibration, loop checking, precommissioning and commissioning activities; a) Field testing, calibration and loop checking of package vendor supplied Items. b) Precommissioning and commissioning of complete package along with control system. c) Only precommissioning and commissioning assistance. 2.7 Site acceptance testing for complete instrumentation fully integrated as per contract requirements. 2.8 Coordination activities; a) Coordination with purchaser during engineering, procurement, factory testing, site activities and site acceptance testing. b) Coordination with various vendors / contractors / manufacturers / sub packaged vendors etc associated with package instrument supplies and services. c) Coordination with suppliers of special instruments / instrumentation items, analysers, control system etc. for availability of their specialist during start up and commissioning. 2.9 Documentation as per Package requirements; a) For all instruments, analysers, equipments, control system as per package requirements. 7 SW01 Page 7 of 8 b) System engineering documentation for control system and related equipments as per package requirements. c) Asbuilt documentation for the complete instrumentation system as per package vendor scope. (Note4) 2.10 Spares and spare parts a) Mandatory spares as per package requirements. i) Pre Defined Mandatory Spares. ii) Engineering spares as defined in package. iii) Consumable spares as per package requirements. iv) Startup and commissioning spares as per package requirements. b) 2 years Operations & Maintenance spares Warranty and warranty maintenance for Instrumentation items Postwarranty maintenance for instrumentation items. _ 3.0 ENGINEERING OF BID PACKAGE 3.1 The package vendor shall be responsible for carrying out the basic engineering for proceeding with detailed engineering for all instruments shown in P&ID attached elsewhere in the package and instrument sizing, utility consumption, specifying derived data in process data sheets, type and material selection of instruments wherever required. This shall also include actual transfer / implementation of the information provided in the form of notes in P&ID and instrument data sheets / equipment data sheets and other documents provided in the tender package. 3.2 The package vendor shall thoroughly review and approve vendor drawings for all instruments and accessories before forwarding to EIL/Owner. Only the approved drawings duly stamped and signed by a competent engineer of the package vendor shall be sent to EIL/Owner. 3.3 The package vendor shall submit all instrument specifications and data sheets as per EIL datasheet, which shall be provided after order. Also instrument specification as per ISA format is also acceptable. On ISA formats, the formats of which are attached to the Instrumentation specification. Format No F1 Rev. 0
8 SW01 Page 8 of The procurement of all instruments shall be strictly from the manufacturers listed in EIL/Owner approved vendor list included elsewhere in this bid package. If EIL/Owner vendor list does not cover some instrument items, the package vendor shall submit the subvendor list for such instrument items for EIL/Owner approval. 3.5 The Purchase Requisitions for all instruments shall consist of specifications / data sheets, special instructions, make / model nos. of instruments, technical catalogues, type test certificates from statutory authorities, standard specifications, inspection and testing requirements, quality requirements, deviation list etc. In case of any deviation from tender documents, the same must be clearly stated in the deviation list along with reasons for the same. In case of no deviation, NO DEVIATION shall be written in the deviation list. In case deviation is not clearly stated in the material requisition and detected in later stage after review of the material requisition, the package vendor shall be responsible for any implication to resolve the deviation. NOTES: 1. Bidder shall verify the implementation of logic and control scheme by DCS/PLC system vendor during FAT and Verification checks shall be carried out before startup. It is the responsibility of bidder to ensure the capacity control scheme fully operational, without which the chiller package is not considered commissioned. 2. The assembly of instruments, probes, transducers, junction boxes, gauge boards with in the skid shall be by bidder and shall be tested at shop. No assembly shall be carried out at site. 3. The local control panel and gauge board shall be provided fully assembled, tested, wired, complete with all instruments, items, terminals boxes and cable entries in installed condition. No assembly will be carried out at site. Only panel installation and termination shall be done at site by others. 4. The Bidder shall provide complete logic for the Package. The logic provided shall be implemented in purchaser s PLC. The completeness and correctness of logic is bidder s responsibility. Format No F1 Rev. 0
