1 FiOS Digital Voice FAQs Basic FiOS Digital Voice Will my home phone number change? Your home phone number will remain the same. Will my home phone number still be listed in Directory Assistance? There will not be any change to your white pages Directory Assistance listing. Can I have a FiOS Digital Voice phone number with a different area code than my home location? Frontier no longer offers Pick Your Own Area Code Service to new customers. Existing Pick Your Own Area Code customers are not impacted. Any new FiOS Digital Voice primary numbers must be in your local calling area. Can I choose a vanity phone number one that has my favorite digits or spells something out? FiOS Digital Voice does not offer Vanity Numbers. Will my home security system or medical alert system work with my FiOS Digital Voice Service after Frontier becomes my service provider? Yes. If your system was previously found to be compatible with FiOS Digital Voice, there will be no changes to how these systems work with the Frontier network. Does FiOS Digital Voice support TTY (Text Telephone Relay) for the deaf and hardof-hearing? Yes. There will be no changes to how TTY services are supported on the Frontier network.
2 Can I redeem My Rewards points that I had with Verizon? Your Verizon My Rewards and My Small Biz Rewards point balance was transferred to Frontier Communications and is now available when you go to login to your account using your Frontier ID and Password. When your online account appears on the screen, look for the Tool Box menu below your account information. Click on the Frontier Rewards link. When the Frontier Rewards page opens, you ll be presented with your current points balance that transferred with you from Verizon, and information on your point redemption opportunities. Please be aware that you will not be able to accrue any points.
3 FiOS Digital Voice FAQs FiOS Digital Voice Features Will there be any changes to my FiOS Digital Voice calling or voic features? Your FiOS Digital Voice calling and voic features have remained the same and are offered at the same rate. All of your passwords, greetings and saved messages will remain the same and are not affected by your service moving over to Frontier. Are there any changes to the telephone commands I use (star codes) to manage my Verizon FiOS Digital Voice voic or calling features? There are no changes to the telephone commands used to manage your FiOS Digital Voice features. Where do I find FiOS Digital Voice features on my FiOS TV? Press the Menu button on your remote control to display the Main Menu. Select FiOS Digital Voice to see selections for voic messages, call logs, and settings. Will my 911 service change in any way now that Frontier is my service provider? Your 911 service will work just as it always has. However, please remember that your FiOS Digital Voice service requires electrical power to function. You are responsible for maintaining a Battery Backup Unit and replacing the battery as needed to support your voice service, including dialing 911, in the event of a power outage. Will the quality of my FiOS Digital Voice service be the same as with Verizon? Yes. Frontier s FiOS Digital Voice service is delivered over the same highperformance fiber network. Where will I find additional information if I need help with my FiOS Digital Voice Calling features or Voic after Frontier becomes my service provider?

From your telephone: To disable Call Waiting for an extended period of time: Lift the handset and listen for dial tone; then dial *44. This disables the Call Waiting feature until you reactivate it. To reestablish Call Waiting: Lift the handset and listen for dial tone; then dial *43. You ll be able to hear the Call Waiting tone when you receive calls. You can also manage Call Waiting and other features from your FiOS Digital Voice Web portal under Call Settings.
5 FiOS Digital Voice FAQs Voice Mail on FiOS Digital Service What toll free number will I use to access my voic box? Effective April 1, the new toll free number to access your FiOS Voic is You can also access your voic using your home phone number or by dialing *86. Will my voice mail passcode or pin change? Your passcode for your voic will not change. However, if you need to change your voic passcode you will be required to enter a minimum 6- digit passcode. What can I do if I forgot my voice mail passcode? The primary account owner of your FiOS Digital Voice service can reset passcodes for all mailboxes. The account owner should first set up their new Frontier ID, then login at Frontier.com and select FiOS Digital Voice. Once in the Web Portal, the account owner can select Settings, followed by Voic Settings, then select Reset Passcode for Mailbox, and click on Reset for the appropriate Mailbox. A new system generated passcode will be displayed. Can I change my Voic passcode after Frontier becomes my service provider? You can change your Voice Mail passcode from the telephone by selecting Personal Options (4) then Personal Profile (1) and Change Passcode (1), or from the FiOS Digital Voice Web portal using Voice Mail Settings for your individual mailbox. How can I deactivate Voic so it won t interfere with my home answering machine? Please contact Frontier Customer Service at
6 FiOS Digital Voice FAQs FiOS Digital Voice Calling Plans Will there be any changes to my international calling plan or rates? There may be changes to rates to certain countries. Calling plan and rate information can be found at Will there be any changes to my domestic unlimited calling plan? There is no change to your Unlimited Plan. Frontier s acceptable use policy will apply.
7 FiOS Digital Voice Going Online with FiOS Digital Voice Will there be any changes to my FiOS Digital Voice account manager web portal? Frontier has created a new web account manager portal that looks and works very much like your Verizon web account manager. To access the Frontier FiOS Account Manager portal you will need to create a new Frontier ID. Information regarding online registration will be available in the Frontier welcome letters. How can I access my residential account online? You can easily access and register for your Frontier ID. You can access Frontier s Account Manager Portal from your computer, mobile device or tablet. You can also download MyFrontier Mobile App for your ios or Android device. Does Frontier offer a mobile app for smart phones or tablets? Yes. MyFrontier app is a full-service feature app for ios and Android-powered mobile devices that allows you to: Access your FiOS Digital Voice call logs Listen to your voice mail without dialing an access number Turn on/off and manage numbers for Call Forwarding, Simultaneous Ring, Do Not Disturb and Incoming Call Block Manage your voice mail settings Will I keep my FiOS Digital Voice phone book and calendar? FiOS Digital Voice allows you to save contact information for new calls and voic messages, including name and telephone number. Your previous phone book, calendar data, and scheduled events, such as scheduled call forwarding, will not be available. Will I be able to do an online white and/or Yellow Pages search?
8 The FiOS Digital Voice Web Portal and Mobile app give you a link to Frontier Pages, where you can find businesses, people and get maps and directions. Login to Frontier.com, select FiOS Digital Voice, and click on the Frontier Pages link. What online changes will occur to my FiOS Digital Voice service for both frontier.com and the Frontier App? Frontier has created a FiOS Digital Voice web portal and Mobile App that are very similar to the Verizon experience. While there will be slight differences in the appearance of the Frontier portal and mobile app, you should find that the features and services are comparable to the former Verizon experience. How can customers currently manage their FiOS Digital Voice service online? FiOS Digital Voice customers may now manage their voic and call feature settings via the My Account portal on frontier.com as well as the FTR app. As a reminder, you must have a valid Frontier ID to access features such as Call Feature Settings and Voic using the App and the account management portal. At this time, the ability to manage your voice mail and calling features via your set-top-box is not yet available. We will provide an update when it becomes available. Customers may also access helpful information on FiOS Digital Voice in the Frontier.com Help Center.
