Application Forms Our solutions «Application Forms» enables to process all applications received in a standardized, contract-based workflow - from data input to archiving, including quality assurance and the processing of special cases. The front and rear of all applications received are initially scanned. As soon as the digitized images have been imported into the capture solution via a scanning interface, the applications are identified and classified. Once the system has checked the plausibility of all of the data again on the basis of databases and given rules, the application forms are saved together with all pertinent documents (e.g. copy of ID card) as a PDF file in I 4 I INTELLIGENT I DOCUMENT I PROCESSING (IDP)

The clerk responsible for processing the application can now access his application case at any time via a webservice interface. The data is simultaneously exported to the company s own workflow system via a webservice interface where the actual processing takes place. On completion of processing, the system sends the consolidated application case to the subsequent archive system via correspondingly configured export interface. Invoice «Invoice» is a trend-setting input management solution to capture any kind of paperbased invoices. The invoice documents are initially scanned and imported into the application. Intelligent recognition modules identify the relevant invoice data and compare these with the master data from an ERP system. The analysis procedure used is based on an intelligent freeform approach. This means that the system collects and learns information «on the job», as it were, and thus improves the master data comparison. Consequently, document types do not have to be learned in advance for the recognition and analysis through complicated «Training». This ability to learn leads to a continuous improvement in the automatic recognition rate the more the system is used. One result of this freeform recognition is that the system supplies «Trusted knowledge» on the content of the invoice which allows its clear assignment with respect to the supplier, order and responsibility. Unclear invoice documents are automatically forwarded for post-processing. Completely verified invoices are exported directly to further processing systems and/or archives via a standard interface. Letter Post Our «Letter Post» application is an input management solution with which the daily incoming letter post passes through a standardized and largely automated process from data input, recognition, classification and indexing through to archiving. The incoming letter post is not addressed as an isolated process but is perfectly integrated into the company-wide document management procedures. The open architecture of the solution allows the integration of existing workflow applications and archive systems. This means that existing investments are protected and can continue to be used. «Letter Post» is predestined for companies and organizations that daily receive a large number of postal items and who wish to capture these centrally with a minimum of manual effort. Furthermore, the fast electronic availability of incoming letter post in a perfect data quality allows the recipients to process their items without the least delay. I 5 I

Incoming payment orders, bank transfers and checks have to be dealt with quickly, accurately and cost effectively. Our «Payments» solution supports your domestic and foreign payment transactions with all components and functions needed for a systematically automated and economic handling of incoming payment documentation and checks. Special highlight: our multilevel recognition system with context sensitive voting The results of several recognition systems working in parallel are automatically compared and checked in respect to congruence. The context in which the recognized data stands is drawn upon to evaluate and improve the results. This means that you profit from high performance with concurrent high quality and accuracy. Which in turn means that errors which would otherwise result in unwanted corrective action are kept to a minimum. Using automatically processed documentation (Straight Through Processing STP) you profit from an outstanding good-rate of more than 60%.
