Centrally configurable business logic makes it possible to process receipts, reports, s, Office documents, scanned documents and other file types generated through Microsoft Dynamics NAV. You can also organize content and connect it with business objects and processes in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The Designer also works as an administration and reporting tool. The flexible and highly efficient configuration options and the optional use of templates included with the software allow you to implement projects more quickly. There is no need for complex programming just a straightforward configuration designed to make updates easy. Application Template Microsoft Dynamics NAV Preconfigured business logic in the form of an "application template" is available for Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Business templates: Solutions and best practices With ELO BLP, customers benefit from years of expertise in content organization for different industries and specialized sectors. We make this knowledge available to you in the form of packaged business templates, e.g. for technical wholesalers, manufacturers and others. Process templates: Pre-packaged and reusable technical processes Some systems need special technological methods to make data and documents available in the appropriate form. The ELO BLP Output Manager and ELO BLP - PDF Processor components included with ELO BLP then allow you to process printouts from Microsoft Dynamics NAV. PDF or TIFF documents can be generated for every printed document and report. The documents are then indexed completely automatically (via "keywording" with data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV or third-party systems). It is possible to generate any document type from a profile using background forms in order to file documents in the ELO system in an intuitive way. It is even possible to file short-term documents and reports that cease to be available once they are created. When print data is processed, the documents are not just filed, but the content attached to them is also organized (classification, indexing, structure, permissions etc.). This is done for all types of filing. You can also specify that documents that are filed multiple times should be stored as a new version of the original document. With this, the entire change and version history of a document is saved and can be traced in ELO. 5

6 ELO BLP for MS Dynamics NAV Scanned documents: Your own and third-party receipts Signed delivery slips, test reports and performance records should be stored as important verification documents. These documents can be processed automatically and assigned to workflows in Microsoft Dynamics NAV using ELO BLP barcode recognition. Incoming invoice processes: Perfect for any application The automatic processing of incoming invoices offers significant potential for streamlining. The desired degree of automation can be increased step-by-step across the entire process chain depending on the volume of receipts and the size of the company. ELO offers the high-performance ELO DocXtractor module in addition to ELO BLP. This module optimally supports the incoming invoice process through intelligent document data extraction and flexible item-related incoming invoice verification including data validation. This reduces throughput times to a minimum and avoids redundant data recording. Enterprise Content Management

7 Making the most of s Storing and processing s is of central importance when it comes to universal provision of information. To maintain their validity (e.g. from the perspective of tax law), s should generally be stored in their original format. With ELO BLP, s are not just filed based on purely technical considerations; they can also be assigned to business partners or processes in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Assigning your s to structured data is the only way to keep them easily and securely accessible. These options for comprehensive content management are offered client-based directly in Microsoft Outlook, or with the ELO XC module on the server. Alongside the Microsoft Office solutions, additional client- and server-side modules are available for IBM Notes and Tobit. File Microsoft Office documents with one click ELO BLP integrates seamlessly into Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and also offers rule-based document filing and integration into Microsoft Dynamics NAV objects and processes. Processing is fast and convenient. When filing a document, information from Microsoft Dynamics NAV or other sources can be looked up or validated, if needed. The intuitive and user-friendly operation is important for high user acceptance, which in turn is a basis for comprehensive document management and fully transparent business events. 7

8 ELO BLP for MS Dynamics NAV File to the right place automatically via drag-and-drop Dropzones are a quick filing interface that allow you to process files from a range of different sources via a simple drag-and-drop. This can be done according to purely technical requirements or based on the file contents (e.g. for Microsoft Dynamics NAV objects or processes). When filing according to content, the Dropzone can also offer filing options appropriate to the context of the current task from Microsoft Dynamics NAV - e.g. filing by customer, order or project. The filing target for individual activities (e.g. current projects or customers) can be defined using Favorites. 9 Fully automatic upload actions ELO BLP provides secure and valid filing from the user environment or via the server, even without any user interaction. Directories can be monitored and processed automatically using business logic. Files and documents are transferred to a central service for further processing and filing. From ERP and CRM to SharePoint and web applications Web clients and context-sensitive user support are available in SharePoint and for a range of other systems and web applications. For example, users can move documents from the local desktop to a project management team webpage and assign them to a project through a simple drag-and-drop operation. This one action covers not just the upload itself, but also the complete processing of the document in line with organizational guidelines. ELO BLP for Microsoft SharePoint: Organizing document and data content (classification, indexing, structuring, assigning permissions, starting workflows), including special SharePoint functions such as creating websites, lists and libraries. 9

ELO BC connects Microsoft Dynamics NAV, document storage, databases and other information sources, Microsoft Office, and third-party web applications into a comprehensive, role-based context. The user is at the focus of the action for this. Function groups such as Search, Information, Create New Document, Call, Go To or File provide you with the appropriate options and information sources in context for your current task and role. The ELO BLP and ELO BC business logic can be configured together via a single designer, saving you effort when setting up and running your system.
