3 1. PARTICIPATION Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden are allowed to send two teams of athletes (2x4 women and 2x6 men) and 6 officials, in total 26 persons per nation. The Netherlands, Italy and South Korea are allowed to send one team of athletes (1x4 women and 1x6 men) and 5 officials, in total 15 persons per nation. Participating nations are to be present in uniform for the Opening ceremony at 26 th of August at hrs. 2. REGULATIONS The competitions will be governed by the following regulations: - International ilitary Sports Council: ilitary Pentathlon, General Regulations for the ilitary Nordic Championships, The regulations for the ilitary Nordic Championships in ilitary Pentathlon, ELIGIBILITY In accordance with Article 3.19 of the CIS regulations, all competitors must be active service personnel. 4. ORGANIZERS AND TRANSPORT Local transportations will be provided in accordance with the usual principles that apply to our sports exchanges. The host during the competition will be Swedish Armed Forces (SAF) South Skåne Regiment, P 7 Revingehed, approximately a 60 minutes drive from almö Sturup Airport (X), 30 min from Central railway station in Lund or 75 min from Copenhagen Airport (CPH). Transportation from almö Sturup Airport and Lund Central railway station to SAF South Skåne Regiment will be provided. The missions are responsible for travel expenses to and from Sweden. 6. CONDITIONS OF STAY During your stay in Sweden your missions will be guests of the Swedish Armed Forces from 25 th - 30 th of August. Normal board and lodging is at the expense of the organizer. Within regard to the host s availability of rooms during this period accommodations for all teams will be provided in logement. Chiefs of mission will be accommodated in private accommodation. Additional members are requested to book and pay for hotel room. The organizer can assist in finding suitable accommodation. 7. SPORTS FACILITIES Shooting will be carried out at a shooting range, 300 meter, with 18 targets. Sius Ascor electronic scoring system will be used. The obstacle swimming will be performed in a 50-meter swimming pool with two lanes. The obstacle course is a two-curve course with two lanes, gravel surface with two lanes. The throwing course has four stands for competition and two for warming up. The grenades for the throwing competition, warming up included, will be provided by the organizer. The cross-country track is 2 km with mostly gravel, grass and asphalt. The obstacle swim will take place in Lund, at an indoor swimming pool (Högevallsbadet) and the other disciplines will take place in the surrounding of the South Skåne Regiment. In order to reduce the number of officials from organizer a try-out will be held during this championships. Participants will be involved as officials in obstacle course. A special process chart will be set up. Detailed information will be held during tecnical meeting. This decision has been taken at Nordic sport leaders meeting.

PASSPORTS, VISAS, UNIFOR For information on passports, military uniforms and visas for entry into Sweden, please contact the Swedish Embassy in your country. The participating missions are permitted and obliged to wear uniform during the stay at P 7 on the scheduled occasions. 10. 10 ANNEX III PAGE 1 OF 1 FINAL ENTRY - COITENT BY THE CHIEF OF ISSION This form shall be delivered to the chief of secretariat at the arrival to the competition. The undersigned, Chief of ission, declares that he has read the Article of the CIS Policy anual and moreover understood the following prescriptions: A. Chief of ission 1. Chiefs of ission shall be familiar with the CIS Regulations; 2. issions must not only participate or be present at sports events. They are also required to participate in information conferences on CIS, study days, commemorative and cultural events and ceremonies organized by the host nation. B. Conduct of a ission 1. The Chief of ission is responsible for the behavior of his team in sports and general discipline. He shall ensure that members of his mission respect the rules and directives prescribed by CIS and organizers of the Championship. The respect of schedules is particularly important as they form the basis for the effective conduct of competitions and ceremonies. Instances of indiscipline or poor sportsmanship will be handled by Championship officials and may result in the disqualification of individual athletes or teams. 2. The Chief of ission shall also enforce the rules concerning behavior and dress during the ceremonies. He plays an important role in promoting the CIS spirit among his mission. A spirit represented by friendly attitude towards other missions, courtesy towards organizers and fair-play in competition. The ission, who does not wear military uniforms during the opening ceremony of a Championship, will not be authorised to take part in the Championship. The Official CIS Representative will communicate this decision. 3. In conformity with the statutes and traditions of CIS, any political or religious action during a CIS event, in particular the dissemination of propaganda documents, pictures, brochures, reviews, etc, is strictly forbidden.
