Taifa Auctioneers will be selling various categories of boarded items through OPEN PUBLIC AUCTION on as is where is basis on Tuesday, 28 th June 2016, starting at 9.00a.m. WITHIN THE HOSPITAL GROUNDS and at the R.S.D near the police post. The boarded items falls under the following categories;- 1) Medical Equipment 2) Dental Equipment 3) Catering Equipment 4) Printing unit items 5) ICT Equipment 6) Radiology 7) Assorted Obsolete Equipments and Parts Documents containing detailed information of the boarded items, as per lots, is obtainable at the Supply Chain Management office room no.6 on payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs.3, CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. Auction documents describing the items to be auctioned are obtainable from KNH Supply Chain Management department room 6 at a non-refundable fee of Kshs3, All interested bidders will be required to pay a refundable deposit of Kshs.50, to Kenyatta National Hospital in cash or bankers cheque to get a bid number as there will be no bidding whatsoever without a bidding number 3. The deposit will be treated as part payment by the highest bidders (purchasers) and the balance must be paid to Kenyatta National Hospital within 48 hours failure to which the deposits will stand forfeited and the items offered to the next highest bidders subject to reserve price. 4. The sale is subjected to a reserve price and all items bidded for must be collected within seven (7) days, failure to which the purchaser shall be liable to a storage charge of Kshs.1, per lot per day. 5. Radioactive or electronic waste shall be disposed of to persons licensed to handle the respective waste under section 88 of the environmental management and coordination Act Successful bidders must pay 25% of the purchase price at the fall of the hammer. 7. Viewing of the items by bidders who will have bought the bid document will be on Monday 27 th June 2016, between 9.00am 3.00pm, during working hours as the items are not warranted by Kenyatta National Hospital, or the Auctioneer, since they are being offered on an as is where is basis. 8. All payments shall be made to Kenyatta National Hospital in cash or bankers cheque. 9.
