3 Designed for business. Business Online is a dedicated online banking system that meets the online transactional and service needs of your business. It has been specifically designed to meet the needs of small-to-medium sized businesses, like: bulk payments two or more people to authorise transactions multiple staff managing the accounts. Greater flexibility. Using Business Online you can view and access up to 100 accounts (including any Westpac issued business MasterCard and Foreign Currency Accounts). With Business Online you can access account and transaction information wherever you have Internet access select from a one-, two- or three-to-authorise rule for all online transactions view accounts & cards transaction history back to 1998 (180 days for foreign currency accounts) search your transaction information by, account, date, amount, serial number and to/from details export transactions with 10 format options, compatible with most accounting applications set up templates for creating multiple payments, to avoid having to enter the details each time make transfers and some payments until 11.45pm for overnight processing (Monday to Friday). 1

4 You can set access controls. Different users can be set up with different types of access. Each user has their own set of access permissions that define what they can see and do in Business Online. You can even arrange for third party users (e.g. your accountant) to view your account information. Westpac s support team for Business Online creates a Business Online arrangement for you. This defines your organisation and what you can do in the system, such as who can access the system for your organisation how many people must authorise each transaction which of your accounts can be accessed through the system and by who. Each authorised user in your organisation has a unique login ID and password, which they must enter when logging in. This allows you to track who made transactions. For increased security there is a dual administration option where two people are required to authorise changes to user access. If your business requires only one person to manage your accounts you should ask us about standard Westpac Online Banking to see if this will meet your business banking needs. 2

Plan your cash flow and transfer funds make a payment today or schedule a payment or transfer up to 180 days in the future transfer money between accounts or to multiple accounts all in one transaction. Pay anyone using Business Online set up and authorise payments to anyone in New Zealand make single payments or set up automatic payments create a direct credit schedule for multiple payees e.g. payroll save multiple payment details as a payment template for future use pay major businesses from a list of over 1,300 we ve already set up. Import payment files import payroll or creditor files from an office payroll or accounting package for processing direct debit initiators can upload and authorise a Direct Debit file to debit NZ debtor s accounts. Pay your tax online Make over 25 types of tax payments, including GST and income tax for your business, personal tax and your employees. 3

Registering for Business Online is easy. To register for Business Online, you need to be a Westpac business customer with at least one transaction account. Simply complete the application form available at under Business or in branches and return it to your branch or relationship manager.
