Our Quickbanking options are designed to help you carry out your banking transactions securely in a fast and convenient way. Available in branches across Northern Ireland, you can simply pop in and use them: Quicklodge Lodge cash and cheques Lodgements made through the Quicklodge are processed by 5.15pm on the same working day. Online Banking Whether you are always on the move, or simply don t have enough hours in the day, First Trust Bank s banking options give you the freedom and flexibility to bank whenever you need to, from wherever you are. With Online Banking you have the flexibility of banking at a time and place that suits you, and our security precautions mean your money is kept safe. It s flexible banking, day and night, 365 days a year. With Online Banking, you can do the following: Check your account balances View recent transactions on your account View your available funds View pending transactions on your debit card, including the retailer name Transfer money to your own accounts and to any UK bank or building society Pay bills Set up, amend or cancel a regular payment View and cancel direct debits View and print estatements Stop paper statements Manage your personal credit card Search for a cheque Getting started To get started has never been easier. 5 What can I do with Mobile and Phoneline Banking? Mobile Banking Now you can check your balance, pay your bills and manage your money on the move. Simply download the First Trust Bank Mobile Banking App directly from the App Store or Google Play, and once you ve registered you re good to go. There are three ways to access Mobile Banking. 1. Scan this QR code and download the app from the App Store or Google Play now. To scan this QR code, you will need a QR scanner app on your phone. Phoneline Banking or Call charges may vary please refer to your service provider. With Phoneline Banking, you can bank securely and confidentially over the phone, day or night, 365 days a year. Use the automated self-service facility, or if you need help, speak directly to an Online Service Adviser, (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm). To register for Phoneline Banking, or for more information, call (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm). 2. Download the app directly from the App Store or Google Play. 3. You can also access First Trust Bank Mobile Banking by typing m.firsttrustbank.co.uk into your smartphone browser. 7 How do I view statements online? What are the benefits of switching to Online statements? estatements are a free, convenient and secure method of receiving your personal account statements and personal credit card statements online instead of by post This service is available to anyone registered for Online Banking and has an eligible account Using estatements reduces the need to order duplicate statements from your First Trust Bank branch or over the phone You can view and print whenever you need a copy of your statement You don t have to worry about storing or safely disposing of your bank and credit card paper statements All eligible bank account estatements are available to view for a minimum of two years Credit card estatements are available for a maximum of 12 months How do I view estatements? 1. Log into Online Banking and click Statements on the left hand navigation bar 2. Click the estatements tab located at the top of this screen 3. Click View/Download estatements or select one account from the account list available How do I stop receiving paper statements? 1. Follow steps 1 and 2 outlined above 2. Click Stop Paper Statements 3. Read and accept the estatements terms and conditions and click Next to continue 4. You will then be advised that you have successfully stopped your paper statements Call us Click on 5

8 What can I do at the cash machine? Cash machines Cash machines are not just for cash transactions. Using your First Trust Bank Visa debit card and PIN you can also complete balance enquiries, top up your mobile phone, change your PIN and order a mini statement for your account. To find where your nearest First Trust Bank cash machine is, download the First Trust Bank Mobile Banking app or visit our Mobi website at m.firsttrustbank.co.uk and select our handy locator tool. How do I use a First Trust Bank Visa debit card? The First Trust Bank Visa debit card allows you to access money from your bank account. You can use your card in shops, at cash machines and online wherever you see the Visa logo displayed. Visa is a name you might only associate with credit cards but it also appears on millions of debit cards around the world. The card is widely accepted in millions of shops and cash machines around the world where you see the Visa sign and can be used to: Make purchases at Point of Sale (POS) in shops or supermarkets Make purchases with Cashback up to 100 Make cash withdrawals at cash machines Shop online Make Contactless payments where you see the Contactless sign. Contactless Payments* Contactless is the faster way to pay for everyday items. Contactless technology allows you to pay for items that cost 20 or less, quickly and securely. If there is a Contactless symbol located under the Visa debit logo on the front of your debit card, then your card is enabled for Contactless payments. Your security is our highest priority and we use a range of security measures to protect your accounts. For your added peace of mind visit our Security Centre on securitycentre or pick up the Safer banking brochure in branch which provides tips on how to stay safe online. Card reader The card reader is a security device that works in conjunction with your First Trust Bank Visa debit card and PIN to generate unique security codes which are used to complete certain Online Banking transactions. Order a First Trust Bank card reader through the Manage My Accounts section on Online Banking or by contacting one of our Online Service team at (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm).
