This camp will focus on continuing the development of fundamental baseball skills in a fun and safe environment, which both novice and experienced players will enjoy. The camp will include instruction in hitting mechanics, infield/outfield fielding fundamentals, base running, and pitching mechanics. No experience is needed to participate in this camp. Learn these skills from experienced Bay Area High School Baseball coaches. The City of Berkeley s Spring Break Youth Baseball Camp is open to boys and girls ages This camp will be a great mid-season review to help players finish the spring season strong and a great introduction to the City of Berkeley s Summer Youth Baseball League. Day campers visit both Tilden Park and the Berkeley Marina to enjoy canoeing in the Bay, hiking, swimming, and arts and crafts like the-dye and candlemaking. We will work together on sight reading, creating a beautiful group sound, locking in intonation, articulating with expression, and playing together as an ensemble. Activities include group warmups, all band rehearsals, sectionals, music games, and nonmusical games. Final concert Friday, June 19 at 3:00pm, (kids in Band Camp only, are welcome to stay from 12:00 3:00pm and prepare for the concert).
